Download Oxygen Updater through Play Store and update manually? There's a few more steps involved though VS auto-pushed OTA, but it's not that hard IMHO.

Done. My op6 is currently on android pie. Thnks! 😁😁😁

nope.. i've not rooted since day one, should i do a factory reset?

Is USB Debugging turned on in Dev options? Heck, do you even have Dev Options turned on to begin with?

If it not all that, only thing I can think of is either your company app being coded wrongly for root check, or some other app interfering with it.

If all else fails, I guess a reset would probably be the only option left (as nuclear as it is)... after which DO make sure you try your company app FIRST before installing anything else to make sure that it's not something else at fault.

So after the update, my OP6 randomly booted itself to recovery. Not frequent, just sometimes. Had to reboot manually from stock recovery to system.

(Unlocked BL, Magisk+TWRP) Oreo updated to Pie (rooted with Magisk, didn't install TWRP yet).

Anyone facing the same problem? Or someone know any fix?

hi, folks. so i updated to the official android pie via ota. mine's malaysia set.
my company's app seems to think i'm rooted, i used root checker from playstore, but it says i'm not. i checked, i don't have supersu installed either.

Anyone know how to deal with this issue?
thanks!

Its because your mentioned company app is not build to support Android Pie and I'm afraid there is nothing much you can do about it. Only can wait until your company updates the app.

Hah, Occam's Razor lol. Totally slipped my mind that it might just be a Pie compatibility issue... Unless it's working fine with Pie on another device ler.

yes. from starting also having this issue.

at first the GPS will fix once in a blue moon.
but it will lost signal halfway using waze.
and very hard to get a GPS fix.

now totally no fix at all.

and at first it thought is umobile issue. but even using other line also same.

Clear cache on waze, google maps and apps that are affected. This GPS issue shouldn't be affecting Oneplus 6 as this issue was rectified long time ago on the OP3 and 3T.
