aw man you ppl got all the wrong info

any bare wood when stained (your term polished) will change color to a varying degree.
Imagine just using water on bare wood, the color will darken abit, so how would you get a stain that doesnt change the color of the grain?!

The putih is paint, its a different thing.

diff oil base/type will result in a diff color. Put few more layers and it will change darker.
