See this page for infos:

Even tho i have checked and tried few times where it says thunderstorm and bad raining, it did not rain at P9 or Jarak for fishing at all. Anyway, do prepare the raincoat.

Rory bro,

i got a lil problem with my reel and line.. i can't fit the whole 300 yards into my Excia spool. It says 8lb dia can store up to 230 metres.. i think i store 150 full house already.. i wet and tightened the line before i reel in. Tapau man this time.
*
I think yesternight i manage to fit in near to 200m edi....but not sure till you wind in the rest of the spool. As i see, not much left about 100m or slightly more nia.

Bro X,
Anyway, do seek for me. Bro Q have roughly told me the pricing, for better offer, you need to contact him smile.gif

Bro Ice,
Yes, it's called Shrink Wrap. Cheap at electronic shops. I bought mine at Jalan Pasar.

There will be 2 scenario for jigging or casting. It might be drifting or anchored. smile.gif

Jigging weight is meant for lifting the rod is high speed while doing vertical jig. If the rod taper(rod tip) is stiff enuff thus enable the heavier jig to be lifted up in high speed.

Casting weight is meant for parabolic of the rod while casting. Some rod can cast a 40gram but can lift a 250grams jig easily.

For your infos.. smile.gif

The symptom is COPD issit? G6PD me not aware off.. smile.gif

COPD will happen much to smokers and people around them... sad.gif

Bro X,
yes you have to jig and jig and jig....if your jig is not moving, the fish wont strike, if you dont jig, the fish wont jump on board and strike the hooks.. smile.gif

So keep jigging with it~

Bro X, those are jigs.. smile.gif Homemade jigs.. smile.gif

something like this
user posted image

There are 20grams up to 1kg jigs depending on the depth and current.

The rule of thumb is matching the depth of the seabed. Example: 100feet(33m) depth then you use 100grams jig. But this also based on the current in the area.

I have jig before in a place about 60feet(20m) and i need to use 180~200gram jigs, the current is way too fast. I could have used 60~80gram jigs but it will be like flying kite...

I dont mind getting some of the jigs to try as well. smile.gif

i'm keen and interested to make my own jigs too. Been losing too many liao...kekeke

Some of the brands which i'm keen to make is
1. Yozuri Metallic Sardine I and II
2. Duel Tamentai
3. Seven Seas Hooker I and II + Darter
4. Shimano Butterfly
5. Ace Jigs

These are few of the preferred brands when serious anglers go for serious sheet of deep sea jigging.

Added on June 22, 2007, 10:05 amBro X,
Sonar will be used to find the depth and the bottom structure of the seabed.
