alrite. here's the reason i've not reply to the forum for so long. after doing so many research about the tytn II, i kinda frustrated about the video n lag issues...n to think HTC would came up with such decision ( "to pay 3000 usd for those who can came up with the solution") is not promising.

now, the thing i did last Thursday is i asked for refund. n he did refund me the total price that he quotes me which is RM1775. It was suck to have story u all about the tytn II i'm about to get, but unfortunately , the issues really bothers me. So, now i'm deciding of which pda phone to buy around that price( meaning, a cheap PDA will do as i need them starting on my new sem as a student. haha!)

I know some of u guys must have think that i put up a wrong decision..but i think i did for the best. And here's an add up why i rejected the tytn II(my unit). That guy told me the tytn II i'm about to get is from Taiwan ( it was smuggled thru the back door..), n originally all were written in chinese and to make things worse , there is no Sirim sticker ( ofcoz la..coz from taiwan rite? so have to put it manually..but that kinda scares me for future refrence like repairing the device or watsoever). So , i know i'm being a risk taker at first, but after adding all the issues above, i dun think i wanna give my 1.7k coz its no more worthy.

battousai, dun get any ideas ok? haha if its not becoz of the stupid issues, i would have gotten the tytn II n post it up for u guys already.

Greetings, i'm very interested in this device so i did some research on this phone before i gonna get one for myself, then i come across this site http://htcclassaction.org/ stating that there is some graphic driver problem. I just wanna reconfirm from you all(the users) is there a problem with video playback or lagging/slow while GPS navigation? I'm planning to get this baby in the next few days, but now still unconfirm due to this problem....

that's sad, hoping for HTC release the update for the drivers. currently this is the best PDA phone i could find with all function in one device.

Well, I am holding back my purchase until HTC solves the driver problem or probably until N95 solve their lousy GPS system. I allocated the cash and it's only which product getting it.

Well its a bit cruel to holdback such awesome unit. Do you really need to watch video all the time using this pda? Its that the only critical drawback that holds u from purchasing it?

I'm sure the rest of the performance outclass other models . . . rclxms.gif

i never use the camera because i think camera phones are worst than a true camera . . .
and i dont need the camera phone when i'm already happy with my digital camera . . .
video recording? i have my digital camera . . .
watch video? i dont find it laggy or so, its watchable. i don't depend on the unit to watch a whole movie.

yeah no doubt HTC are giving crap support on the driver , but that doesnt stop people from buying this awesome unit.
