You are all right about the mental thing. I have no idea how Titus James is doing now but if I were him, I wouldn't come back. Who cares if he never represents the nation? At least he'll have a decent career, unlike our nasi lemak deprived heroes who opted to come back instead of staying on in France and Germany. Look where they are now? We should be giving players who have ambition the opportunity to train with clubs overseas and secure permanent contracts. Why keep sending these nasi lemak eating, homesick, lack of ambition useless players abroad?
We've just scored one. Looking at the how happy some people in the crowd are just comes to show how far behind we are. We're losing 4-1 to a team we used to draw with and it's as though we just scored 1 against Brazil. |

Malaysia were losing many talented and brilliant young players to other pro careers like engineering and pharmacy. Just look at our school up to uni we had a lot of talented young players but then they avoid becoming football players when they graduated. No points for guessing why. Nakata even declined Japanese U just to play football. Malaysian football is the exact opposite man.
Badminton is our national sport not football. |

There were no scouts to discover talents....all competition were school-based and the talented players in the losing schools just being forgotten. Only until national level that players are united to form a team.

For example, Ah Beng in school A is a talented left back but his school lost in the MSSD... So where is he going to further his playing career as we only see competitions being held once a year?

We were tactically and technically inferior. This result just comes to show how far behind we have fallen, compared to the rest of our Asian counterparts but hey, let's fool ourselves into thinking it's alright.

For sure the media will be focusing on the "Goal of the Season" scored by Indra but not on our loss....
