Thanks for confirming, if I am not mistaken, at one time Maybank decided to stop this and it was resumed later on. That’s why I bothered to ask.

Just a quick update, I called CS to permanently cancel my M2C Visa card, with no hassle. Use to balance TP to redeem for Aeon voucher and SST set off for the Amex card with no hassle as well. Happy CNY guys!!!

Yes - that’s my reason to terminate my Visa card because cheapskate don’t want to pay for the SST.

The paywave function it is applicable to both M2C Amex and Amex charge card?

Like I can’t redeem TP for my Amex charge card but I can do it for my M2C Amex.

I didn’t manage to transfer my TP, I top up some TP to change for 100 bucks aeon vouchers and to redeem the SST for my M2C Amex card.

Side note, the CS told me she will proceed with immediate cancellation on my request (M2C Visa card) on Monday, but till now I still can see it still valid in my m2u, it is normal? Or should I call again and ask? Because I already see the TP redemption is successful.

Ya I called CS last Monday and ask them to terminate that card because it was charge SST. I still see it inside my m2u.

Actually a lot of other banks offered cash back for the SST. Just come back to the point, earning cash back of RM600 for a year but have to pay SST of 25 bucks still seem very gooding to me, that’s why I don’t mind. But the M2C Visa have to go.

Are you referring to the Maybank beside the guardian pharmacy in Suria KLCC?

Just called up the Maybank CS to verify on my M2C Visa has been successfully terminated. Don’t think I still can do it if I upgrade my gold card to plat.

It is true that Maybank decided to not to give rebate when reloading e wallet?

Meaning say that, this coming weekend will be the last week to do so.

My heart got shuttered just wondering should I continue with Maybank cards.

Ya you are right, but before this I normally schedule my utilities bills to pay with m2c in order to reap the cashback benefits.

I managed to top up my boost on Sunday, RM500, with some usage around RM500 too early of the month. Still managed to reap the full 50 cb.

If you are noticed we been talking about this. E wallet is not longer recognised for cash back next week onwards
