QUOTE(fruitie @ Jan 6 2019, 08:27 PM) I supposed follow Malaysian timing, so far I spent in overseas and I followed Malaysian time and got cash back. I believe its according to local time where the transaction was made as i made a transaction in London at 530pm Sunday (130am Monday in Malaysia) and still managed to get the rebate |

QUOTE(hjh87 @ Jan 20 2019, 10:14 PM) In a hurry, that why have no chance to ask at the counter. Just to linger around here to see any user having the same experience to share it. Maybank captures the date when you did the transaction on Apple's website. And beside that, would like to check about the cash back. Have anyone purchase item from Apple Malaysia before? Read their payment method "Your card will be charged when your order ships." Let say I purchase it during Sunday, and the item only shipped out on Monday. Meaning that the purchase is not fall under weekend and not entitle for 5% cash back?? |

QUOTE(vin_ann @ Feb 11 2019, 09:52 AM) A friend share his Amex experience. Those expenses have to be charged to the same card to be eligible for the claim right? He purchased MAS flight to HK with his Amex for family. When 1 of his family luggage delayed, all expenses incurred with receipt during the waiting hours can claim up to RM800 |

QUOTE(kart @ May 7 2019, 06:59 PM) I remembered that someone here mentioned that the RM 50 weekend cashback for Maybank 2 Card American Express per each cardmember is fully paid by American Express in USA, not Maybank. your perspective is biased towards consumers, bank doesn't have to reason out how much profit they should makeSince the credit card interchange fee is now capped at 1.0 %, Maybank can use this interchange fee to pay for 5x everyday Treatspoints, even for weekend transactions. As such, Maybank should not need to use its internal fund, to pay for 5 % + 1 % total effective cashback for weekend transactions. However, why does Maybank still need to revoke 5x Treatspoints for weekend transactions, and 5 % cashback for weekend utilities and government bodies transactions respectively? its fair game for them to revise such and we just adjust our spending habits to gain what we can, if we no longer find the card beneficial to us then just terminate |

i'm planning to request for an Amex replacement to have the expressway feature.
is it true that you have to be the one to receive the cards if you request it to be sent to mailing address? and will you be able to use the card for online transactions while waiting for the new card to arrive? as far as i know, they said the card that i'm holding won't be able to make any transaction the moment they put in a request for a replacement even though the new card will be issued with the same number |

I made a transaction yesterday night on Amex and it wasn't posted today, that means when it does, it would be using my July quota right?

QUOTE(ClarenceT @ Jul 1 2019, 08:32 AM) Nothing change at your outstanding balance since yesterday? Otherwise check the transactions at M2U after 10am. Calculated already, only the boost showed up on e outstanding balance which hit my 1k June quotaBut my other transaction didn't show up, so that transaction would use July quota right? |

QUOTE(Yamma @ Jul 5 2019, 06:01 PM) thanks for replying to my query. someone from maybankard might be reading this and already waiting to see if these transactions show up anytime soon on their system it will be difficult to identify how obvious is obvious, how big is big. Their minimum requirement to get annual fees waiver is already rm80k. My purchase of material will be about 10-25k per transaction twice a month at this current pace. With few option of vendors (repeated transaction which bank may easily able to trace). If they forfeited the point, will it also include those my personal usage?
