Anyone know how soon the EzyPay Plus / EzyPay Plus-i applications will approve or reflect the first instalment?

I understand that the application must be made before the statement date of your credit card billing cycle.

If my statement date is 21st every month. Possible I apply the EzyPay Plus on 21st at 11:50pm and pay in next round statement.

If my next statement date fall on 21 May. The. I apply EzyPay Plus on 21 May, the ezypay full payment will autopayment on the same day. Then, the first 1/6 installs will reflect on 22 May? Am I catch you correctly? Haha

It can be only apply before the statement date. Once statement generated and the trx cannot conver to ezypay.

I am using iOS and not facing the issue that you describe. Only if the merchant not suppoer SPLater, it will grey out and not allow to select.

Regarding the AMEX,

I visited Aeon Big and BHP today. Unfortunately, both ?VX520 terminals are unable to accept contactless payments (Apple Pay and Physical card). I can only insert my card and enter my PIN.

Has anyone else encountered this issue? Are there any solutions available?

This happened like 3 months ago. At AEON BIG, the Verifone terminal couldn’t process AMEX PayWave, but inserting the chip worked. I also experienced the same issue at BHP with the same terminal I think VX520 terminal. The problem still hasn’t been resolved until now.

Yes, no action was taken. I even had another issue with the cashier before. That time, I wanted to use ShopeePay because I didn’t bring my AMEX physical card. But the cashier simply pressed “cash payment” without asking me the payment method. Since I had already applied my RM5+5 voucher, they said cannot void the bill.

They forced me to pay cash,, but I insisted not to. Finally, they returned me RM10 in cash and I walked away with nothing. All this happened because their terminal cannot accept AMEX contactless (I was using Apple Pay), and the cashier simply pressed cash payment on their own, without checking.

Yes. By right they can’t return the voucher to me since they already finalised the bill - cash.

But I insisted do not want to pay in cash. In the end they have no choice and return me RM10 in cash.

Can still use the AMEX, but with Physical card and insert chip.
