Yeah, I also faced the same issue. Eventually still renewed with Etiqa but paid with RHB Shell and got RM 3x cash back with RM 6xx. I’m very surprised because I hardly use this card.

Yes follow transaction date but cash back quota follows posting date.

If your 31.08 transaction is only posted tomorrow then it will be considered as September cash back. A bit risky there unless you can confirm your transaction will also be posted today.

Digi app allows to pay Digi bills with AmEx, I believe fiber bills should work too? Same goes to payment via M2U also allows AmEx. I’m using Maxis and U Mobile Home 5G, both can be paid with their apps.

This is as per FAQ will charge RM 25 3 months later, not I sure or not.
For me, I’m an old timer I can cancel Visa/MC which I have done back in 2018.
