Ofcourse there are some restrictions and anyway MBB no longer gives points/cashback for topup ewallets.
Ewallet accounts itself has rescrictions such as must be verified (provide IC) and got limit.

Boost max 2K/month

Alternatively u can find "cash out" services in Shopee/Lazada where u make an actual purchase but no item will be delivered but seller will give u back cash, with fees ofcourse.

It's for the 5x treat points from AMEX to play air miles. After tHt you can aim for Maybank 2 cards premier when your income qualifies.

IMO banks won't allow Jompay, FPX, Government MCC for cashback as 0% / super low % charge.
