Everrise Supermarkets @ Kuching outlets a bit tricky.
Most of the cashiers are holding 2 card machines, CIMB and Public Bank. Normally you will tap at Public Bank card machine. No difference if you are using Maybank CC or PB Quantum Visa (from 1/9).

Sometime I use PB VS, HLB Wise, Maybank Islamic Mastercard for Groceries CB, I need to request using CIMB machine (MCC - Groceries). I may not get Groceries CB if it is performed at some PB card machine (different MCC). But PB card machines at Everrise GHM are using Groceries MCC as the outlet does not have departmental section.

i already have FCBVS, just seeing if any1 had applied the platinum before they hit 60K pa. If really can't then most likely i will downgrade it to green charge card for travel insurance.

For Amex, Maybank get the exclusive right. Whatever Amex transactions will be processed by Maybank, regardless the Amex is issued by CIMB, HLB or PBB.

Once you get a Maybank Diamante Visa Card, you can give up all the above mentioned cards. 1 card will replace all.

Maybe Amex is coming back to Malaysia soon, Maybank will lose the exclusive right of Amex operations in Malaysia.

I no longer use Maybank CC to pay directly at Sesco's counter or e-kiosk or SEB Cares (online). I already know I will get 1xTP only on weekdays, no CB on weekends.

I am paying at Razerpay App, Lazada bill payment (Lazada Wallet), Shopee bill payment (ShopeePay), CC/DC during spending campaigns, RM1 PIN transaction at Sesco e-kiosk or RM1 transaction at SEB Cares (online), SarawakPay. Most of the time >5% savings.
