Guys, Is PTPTN can get treatpoint by using Amex card?

None of other credit cards in Malaysia will give you rebate/reward for government related transactions.

There was an announcement sometime June last year. Any overpayments will not be refunded. That goes with the refund as well.

Not sure if bigger amount makes a difference as I requested few hundred refund to be banked in but was rejected.

I just call Maybank, CS say will proceed refund to bank within 8 working days.

some would prefer direct transfer

want to ask, regarding the Cash back when you make no claims for Takaful, how to redeem the cash back? been using Takaful for years but never got any cash back also

I expect it will bank in to the saving account, as the last step through the online renew is to key in the saving account number.

Yes, provided that you use fave on weekend and pay by amex.
My amex stay in the account. working just fine.

Mainly in f&b where we usually can't pay with Amex (or even CC).
I also use for pharmacy and electrical shop (can accept Amex too but fave is faster and some can earn little cash back).

With so many e-wallet competitors around, Fave is unable to compete without accepting Amex.
I guess Amex take up a large portion in order for Fave to u-turn.
Also, their willingness to share data with MBB may see Fave continue getting TP (recent statement will show what you paid via Fave, it was not indicated previously, bank will love these big data from consumers).

Mostly is makan makan with discount, and sometimes can use bp points to offset bills.

Can we get the 5% rebate if we pay Maxis/Digi bill via M2U Bill Payment by using AMEX during the weekend ?

I think that restriction is only apply to payment via Digi portal?
I was able to add my Digi account via Maybank2u as payee from Amex. But, I haven't make any payment yet, so I'm not certain.

They do and it’s a hit and miss.

Managed to charge through Amex on 26th April.
So far for May, tried 2 times and didn’t work.

The transaction will get posted after 3-4 days only so may want to take note for transaction posting

what i don't like for foodpanda is if the payment fails, it will take about 30 minutes or so before it gets cancelled.

yup, all the orders with failed payment will auto cancel after 30 minutes or so.

Hello everyone. I’m the OP that posted FoodPanda accepts AmEx and caused a little “confusion/commotion” here. I guess I wasn’t that clear on my tries.

After reading what you guys have experienced, I realised I am not the only one. I thought that I was the only one have to deal with multiple tries/transactions to use AmEx in FoodPanda. True enough, I had to deal 4 times before the 5th time, payment went thru. These were my exact steps.

Create order -> enter AmEx card details (ticked save card details but it did not save) -> click purchase -> failed.
Repeated next 3 times of “click purchase -> failed”.

Finally, I just try to retype my cc details and again ticked save card details but it did not save -> purchase -> success!

I hope this clears out some confusion. As “evidence”, here’s my failed orders and finally went through.

Guys I ordered and made payment online of 2k on 17/5 (Sunday) using AMEX gold But When I looked at Maybank2u Online show transaction date was 19/05. My invoice also Put 19/5.

So I able to claim cashback RM 50 since transaction date 19/05? How can they Put 19/5 When I clearly made payment on 17/5

Hmmm I called maybank and they said that it is charged to my Visa instead of Amex. Now Im wondering if I misclicked or something. Heading over to ask FoodPanda right now.

I got foodpanda to work with AMEX after failed miserably since yesterday.
This is on IOS.
I click on the camera icon to take pics of the card then select enter manually, keyed in the card number and CVV.
Then ordered and payment went through this time.
Not sure is random luck or due to method used.

Not MBB card. From other banks.
I check back history and email. Not able to know which card got charged. Probably need wait few days for the transaction to appear online.

using the m2c amex, installment @ weekdays will earn 1x TP only, not 5x. weekends = no cashback.

m2c visa/master = 1x TP.

Ya, that's why i am really confuse when i checked my statement, no interests charged for the outstanding beyond due date.
