Hi, want to clarify something here.
» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

*
1. 4GB & 6GB has slightly better rear & front cams. Please stop referring to GSMArena. They are lousy for definite source. The correct and verified source is from Asus Malaysia website.

2. For M1 Pro, recent development have found that the GCam can be installed without unlocking bootloader. Please refer to post #1 at page 1 under FAQs section.

3. We are getting model 602KL. AFAIK, the other model is for India region(s) which has different modem for LTE connections.

4. Please refer to history log at Zentalk Forum.

5. No camera improvement for both 3GB & 4/6GB variant. We better flash GCam for better pix & vix quality.

BTW, since your questions are more towards camera, better stay away from the M1 Pro. Get either Redmi Note 5i or Redmi Note 6i (if MIUI is not bothering you...). M1 Pro is for "Limitless" Gaming usage...

For well balance option between cam, price, OTA stability, build quality and features, get the... ZE620KL that has OIS

Hi all.
I'm currently considering m1 3gb ram here to replace my mi a1 as my primary smartphone.
I mainly use whatsapp, telegram, line, youtube, microsoft words, excel and some 2d games (idleheroes).
Main reason to switch is battery because i once have a hard time charging my phone during outstation because of lack of power source.
So guys, should I make the switch?
Any advice is deeply appreciated.

I use my 4/64 mainly for the same apps that you use.i.e. WA, YT, MS Office and many more but no games. They run fine on the phone.

I wouldn't worry about gaming. Max Pro M1 is "Limitless" Gaming... biggrin.gif

Just get power bank will do... Mi A1 can last another 1 year based on your usage pattern...but for Words and Excel, better get bigger screen like the Honor 8X that has 6.5" with 91% screen-to-body ratio...or Mi Max 3 if you don't mind the size and weight...

My opinion. That 6GB on a Snapdragon 636 is pretty much utterly pointless not to mention more RAM equities to more power drain. Even if you run graphically intensive games that 6GB will be totally bottlenecked by the mediocre chipset. I would rather op for 4GB or even the 3GB RAM version instead.

One thing I dislike about phones from Huawei/Honor is that they all use the Kirin chipset these day, so if you are expecting better and quicker optimization and support from most app developers including custom ROMs then Sanpdragon chipsets are still the way to go. Not to mention Honor have mostly poor after support for their device based on my last experience using a Honor phone.

All phone makers are now boldly pricing their phones like Apple. Hope they have the same amount of sheeps who are willing to pay that kind of money for it!

Good buy, but 6GB is still kinda overkill for the rest of this phone's mid-range specs. Any promo on the 4GB one?

739 for 4gb, after apply the rm20 discount code. Not so much different from the 6gb though.

Still, both is in shocking sale, at 9 am it will end and not be able to get this price again for a while.
