QUOTE(akchang @ Jul 16 2007, 07:06 AM) AndyLo, Wah akchang... It seems that lotsa people would get lost or wasted time in these hashes to find the right track to follow...Holy cow! that's is bad...with mud n chain doesn't mixed well together. it must been h*ll for ya! how many hours you completed the whole thing? I went to Kajang hash yesterday (28km)..was pretty dry, the trail are in good condition. the only setback was wasted 30-45mins of time finding the right trail to go..casualty only 1 guy fell n had a bad scratch on his legs. bleeding like crazy. Yesterday was a surprised that I thought lotsa people would go to the Kajang Hash but at least there were 50 riders in FRIM.. I have not been in FRIM for at least 2-3 weeks and it seems that they have cleared some area... Nice view ... Had one rider fell off at the snake trail on our finishing ride and he stumbled down at least 10 - 15 feet from his bike... Imagine having at least 10 riders following him behind and all had to jammed our brakes real hard... I took the picture.. let me see if can upload it later... |

QUOTE(akchang @ Jul 16 2007, 11:16 AM) mushroom, BANGI? WTH? quite far leh... I have a few friends who register just to get the jerseys only... and some of them end up riding late in FRIM...around 70-80 ppl went for the hash...there were a few of us tryin to look for te paper but couldn't find it. the junction to turn to the right way the paper was not there, but luckly someone found it. some of the riders totally lost its ways n reported that they end-up in Bangi. they gaved up n call for pickup. |

QUOTE(me0wSter @ Jul 18 2007, 09:38 AM) Hehehe.. I think so this is an air fork.. U no cheapskate la.. U same like me la.. buy 2nd stuff at a bargain...The RS RVL08 already check with my fren.. He say can pay 2 times... Ok loh.. Price almost the same as the RVL07 wan... Added on July 18, 2007, 11:20 amI started off with a Proton T-Bolt for RM 900 (Installment 2 month with a fren) then upgraded some part bit by bit.. Total spent almost RM3.5K include the bike.. Last upgrade was Alexrims TD16 with Magura Hubs, Magura Julie Hydro and Shimano DX pedal.. Most probably gonna spend another RM2K for the RS RVL and maybe either some XT groupie of SRAM groupie.. The LX setup unable to withstand the downhill every week... This post has been edited by mushr00m: Jul 18 2007, 11:20 AM |

QUOTE(Andy Lo @ Jul 20 2007, 02:12 PM) What you think of Commencal bikes? Warranty is on d bad side, but not sure what else is bad.. the Meta 4 seems nice! Short rear travel, xc bike. Commencal bikes are quite good... I have tried my mechanic bike, if I'm not mistaken its a Full Sus Commencal 4.0..I seldom see a HT Commencal around ere... But yesterday while I was at Bikepro, the owner suggest me to trade my bike and get the Commencal Supreme DH for RM10k.. clazeeee.... Here's the pic of my mechanic with his Commencal (4th bike).. He has a Cannondale Road bike, Scott 40, and EPX Terrashark (the original with carbon fibre swingarm) Added on July 20, 2007, 3:16 pm QUOTE(akchang @ Jul 20 2007, 03:09 PM) SamuraiX, COmmencal bikes ere mostly can find in Boon Foo.. I only saw some full sus bike there.. Price varies from RM5K to Rm12K...AndyLo, Commencal Bikes, their frame looks strong. Bike setup also not bad with SRAM n Shimano components My mechanic bought it 2nd hand there when someone came and bought a Ransom and trade in the Commencal.. Lucky guy.. The frame Boon Foo sold off for RM2500.. This post has been edited by mushr00m: Jul 20 2007, 03:16 PM |

QUOTE(me0wSter @ Jul 23 2007, 07:40 AM) guys.. maybe one day you giuys can try to bukit cermin... For starters, its a 45degress climb tarmac for at least 15 minutes. It used to be soil mixed with gravel but now they have tar some parts of the hill..I usually climb for about 20 metres b4 pushing my bike up.. According to some people who have tried it, it is more or less like Kiara but shorter.. Some of my frens who secured this hill says steroid is nothing to them.. I only managed to secured Steroid 1 time only... I think I'm meant only for doing downhill.. ahahaha... Kona, How much did you get the Fox Flux for? |

QUOTE(Hellsceamer @ Jul 26 2007, 10:05 AM) what to do..because my bike brake wont brake properly somemore the v brake getting rust, the shifter wont swift properly sometime and i hate the crank the most ,i think its already senget a bit when i cycle it will make little noise at the crank..maybe i used too much force??? hmm... Yesterday I went to KSH to check the now Marzocchi AM1 and AM3.. Coz need to buy for someone to swap with Talas 32..Then I ask about the SRAMX9 groupset, its around RM550.. almost the same price with Boon Foo.. The set does not include the crank.. I saw the XTR crank costs around RM1400.. My fren is selling his Tbolt for RM4500 (nego). Bike setup comes with Bontrager handlebar, SRAMX9 with gripshifter, Easton and Talas 32 (which I want to get). Total weight around 15-17kg.. Anybody interested on the part maybe can discuss the price... |

Guys...
Wanna ask you your opinion... this hub is that good meh? Saw the review in mtbr, just ok la... but price compared to DT Swiss and Hope is absurd.... I email him to quote me, he msg RM1750... ahahahhaa.. gila.. Tune Hub Went to KSH last saturday after FRIM ride... For the price of the Tune Hub, KSH willing to give me a DT Swiss Rims (RM450) + DT Swiss Hubs (1pair - RM800) + Spokes (RM100) .. Still got a few hundreds to go for a 2.35 tyres... RM1750 for hubs? crazee.... The trip to KSH also makes me contemplating to choose between a RS RVL 08 and RS Domain 318... A different of RM100.. |
