I on hotspot and forgot to turn it off while sleeping... drained battery from 70% to 45%. Still connecting too.
More importantly, i forgot how amazing 4000mah in a new phone is.

QUOTE(raulxiver @ Oct 3 2018, 05:49 AM) Anyone pocophone's screen woke up on its own randomly? I din pressed anything, just put on table & no notification but the screen woke up ftom sleep on itself showing the lock screen. Just like pressed power button. Hi yes, when i use the "double tap to on" function.Sometimes after i offed the screen, and when i was about to put the phone down, the screen suddenly on again. Didnt happen randomly on the table without my hands near it though. I suspected my finger somehow double tapped it while i put the phone down, or maybe the screen is too sensitive? Never happened to my Mi note 4 though (with double tap to on screen). |

QUOTE(Someonesim @ Oct 3 2018, 10:48 AM) Thanks for this tips, I've move some apps into unrestricted mode My Raise to Wake is off haha.Try disabled Raise to Wake, my previous experience on raise to wake, it's quite accurate ( never got weird self-woke case ), not sure on xiaomi or MIUI accuracy. Maybe I should try raise to wake on + double tap off, for a change. |

QUOTE(Someonesim @ Oct 3 2018, 02:31 PM) I only use stock camera apps, doesnt matter if want to share in Instagram or whatsapp, stock camera apps always best quality or speed. A bit hassle to go out and trigger stock camera apps, but I dont mind. yeah, same here. the videos recorded in IG is shaky, and the photos taken by whatsapp camera are more blurry. |

QUOTE(Theoutspokenguy @ Oct 8 2018, 01:06 AM) ![]() i bought mine 128GB free headphone and powerbank. This phone got alot bug. I just found a bug few weeks back the date icon does not change. QUOTE(juneong @ Oct 8 2018, 02:40 AM) is pretty good SOT. Fuah, crazy battery life with only around 1 hour 30 mins charging on top of that.i do a small test on poco and N9 today. 12.30 pm today, both phone 100%. 2.37 am: Poco left 63% with 3hr 47m SOT N9 left 57% with 1hr 57m SOT. worst part, N9 is close to basic unit now, as most apps remove (other than those bloatware) and no BT connection, but POCO with mail sycn, FB, TB, Insta, wifi, BT connect to watch, smart band, scale, PC n speaker. QUOTE(tank82 @ Oct 8 2018, 09:54 AM) Is this true that every pocohone have screen bleed issue? i have it too, didnt give a crap. not noticeable as i only use for just working. i watch videos on my sony oled.My phone have screen bleed and go to lowyat service center to check and informed by the technician all pocophone have this issue. |

Ya ya we geddit, having super duper fast charging is amazing. But what to do if qualcomm or whatever the heck brand of fast charging decided to play hard to get? Just work around and slap a big ass battery lah, at least helps alot y'know? Leave it charge over night, it doesn't hurt to plug it in when you're resting or sleeping.
"Bla bla flagship need fasssst charging", poco is not a flagship, poco is a phone with decent 4000mah and decent charging speed. So teckyyang, maybe you will have more proper answers/replies if you bring your vooc/qc5 6 7 8 desire to the correct section of thread This post has been edited by wai57: Oct 9 2018, 08:52 AM |

QUOTE(davidletterboyz @ Oct 9 2018, 10:59 AM) I think you are not following the discussion? Teckyang was mentioning about RM2-3k phone without flagship charging performance. It's not referring to the Pocophone. Oh yeah, you're right, it's about rm2-3k flagships. Right... Wait... Ain't we in a rm1.4k price range pocophone thread here? Hmmmm weird.Very mild at the bottom. Only noticeable at dark environment. Me not a psychic. Don't know what you don't know. But hey, must have been awesome eh if pocophone has qc4 or vooc eh? |

QUOTE(teckyang97 @ Oct 10 2018, 11:20 PM) What are you trying to say? Pocophone F1 has QC4+ and 4000 mah. These 2 factors are already beyond most flagship out there, which makes Poco a flagship internal hardware. If you weren't following the discussion, I was asking why other manufacturer didn't have QC4+ and include QC4+ adapter within the box? The so-called "expensive" licensing fees sounds like a lame excuse, considering Xiaomi can provide QC3.0 at a much lower price, yet most phones with 2-3x price of Poco don't even have the courtesy to include the latest technology right inside the box. Price and hardware compatibility are NOT related to what you said AT ALL, so your "Poco is not flagship" is not a valid reason for "flagship need fast charging", especially when a budget and affordable Poco has absolutely no difference in charging technology compared to "flagship". alamak, you dont get what i mean? "I was asking why other manufacturer didn't have QC4+ and include QC4+ adapter within the box?" i recommended you to bring this topic to this "other manufacturer" to the proper channel, proper thread. I'm not saying poco buyers are not smart enough to discuss about this, but you have to know that the majority of the poco buyers' mindset why we buy a low priced phone, my dear techyyingyang. With 4000mah and QC3 charger comes in the box, bruh, we are simply happy and couldnt careless about whether other flagship phones have vooooc bla bla qc10. Honestly, i am secretly happy that my poco is as fast as those expensive phones (satisfied the budget side of me so damn much QUOTE(teckyang97 @ Oct 10 2018, 11:20 PM) yeah! my answer is exactly what i was trying to tell you that poco already has this fast charging feature which you care so so so much about... sorted out. so, bring that discussion to the proper thread and you will probably get more answers from there. QUOTE(teckyang97 @ Oct 11 2018, 08:06 AM) Anyways, I'm facing screen on issues without activating the notification screen feature. Its annoying, as sometimes my phone will unlock out of the sudden. Any solutions? 😅 Now we're finally talking bruh! A relative question to this thread!I have no idea why, cuz this sudden screen on happened to me many times. It bugs me alot, but i think it has something to do with the problem LCD. Maybe can try turning off double tap to wake as well as lift to wake? Also when i tried to stream some videos on this phone, i tend to seek around in the video using the slider, i found it so much harder to point the slider at the spot i wanna watch compared to my cheaper mi note 4. QUOTE(Theoutspokenguy @ Oct 13 2018, 09:00 AM) that thing make my phone looks super ugly, to be honest, but function over looks! just like poco is not as pretty as other similar range phones.Yeah, im super clumsy, already dropped about 4 times since i bought it, worst drop was 2 steps down a stair, got the side dented a little, luckily got that original transparent casing (not enough protection obviously). It also has a tiny tiny cracked (sand size) on the screen which i dunno where i got it from before TG installed. As for my mi note 4, woah, im surprised it doesnt have any cracked screen until now without TG. but mi note 4 is very light, so its fine even when dropped alot. good phone is good. oh my, is it me or the latest update fixes the saturation on greenery? which is pretty NICE!
Used to be over saturated whenever the cam facing any trees or grasses. EDIT: meh, still pretty saturated compared to normal camera. This post has been edited by wai57: Oct 16 2018, 05:25 PM |
