Use the Oreo version. Works for me. I don't know y pie version still hangs

I'm a conservative user, so i like to drag it long. Mostly on wifi, Airplane mode on Except (8am-6pm). screen dim just comfy for my eyes. able to stretch to 2days usage. mainly youtube, movie watching, FB. no gaming

which network are you on?
i'm on Umobile, and it doesn't give me instant lock on location.
most of the time, it takes 3-4mins to catch on gps while i'm stationary
Many has said this is due to umobile issue, but i beg to differ as my previous Huaweis (5x,nova 2i) and my wife's samseng s7e does not have this issue. So i'm thinking it's Mi issue,as i'm having same problem on A2 lite and now F1 (probably less severe, but it shouldn't be this way)

i thought upgrading from A2 lite to F1 would solve this issue, but it did not

in my condition, opening 'GPS Test' shows many and almost instant catch on "IN VIEWS" satellite. but the problem is, those satellites are not "IN USE" . it only manages to lock on after few mins . Once it is lock on, it works wonderfully. the moment GPS is off and reuse, then i this problem happens again

I rmbred using GPS fix, clear data and redownload AGPS data, and it instantly locks on GPS. so i'm thinking is more of an software issue.

Manually update to 10.2.2. overall positive feeling. I would say touch input is much much better now. Almost instant no lag. Battery life seems to sustain longer. Give it a try. Overall smoothness is there
