1. Call them and ask if you cancel one of them, do you have to pay SST?

2. Ask yourself, what was the reason you applied for both? Was it for the trolley bag or shoppee voucher? If you're after one of those, the requirement was to apply 1 VISA and 1 Master, and you have to spend $150 on each card, totalling $300 to get the gifts. If you're willing to forgo the gifts, then you can cancel one.

3. If you already got the cards some time ago and only due for renewal, then yes you can cancel one.

Actually I just got mine (sent to home) today and the hard paper that the card is attached to says it's already activated. I just need to set the PIN to start using it, which I already did via PBe the other day.

Hehe. I didn't even bother to check. A few moons ago, they asked me to apply and I turned them down. I don't really have use for them. Collect dust and have to clean every now and then somemore.

Saw the Shoppee voucher promo in July, then only I applied. The card I mentioned above is VS, which is not part of the promo. Asked for additional card since I do groceries alot and Quantum doesn't qualify for cashback.

From what I read, no. You need qualified transactions that use the One Time Password each time. Unify is qualified. TNB and Water are not. Govt bills also not qualified.

The intention of the campaign is to spend more. TNB, water, govt bills are expenses you cannot run away whether you like it or not, so it is not spending more.

Most banks say can apply with offer letter. Back then I did that. Local bank rejected although exceeded the requirements. Citibank accepted. So you can try if you don't mind filling up the long application form only to get rejected.

You're a (witch) Doctor, different story la. Banks will be running to send you cards. And now beg you not to cut them cards for SST.

Anyone tried using Pos Online to pay for Syabas? Did you manage to get the cash back (the standard $30 or $38 limit, not the 3x 5x 8x one)? I was trying and noticed that it redirects to PBe and the T&C says no cash back for anything paid with PBe. I just assume that I'll end up paying with JomPay from PBe if I were to use my credit card.

Doesn't matter yesterday or tomorrow as long as it works for Syabas, people will use it. Syabas only accepts Pos Online and JomPay, and JomPay no cash back.

SST is 1 card $25, so the spending is of course separate. So you need to spend $4000 on each Quantum card, not $8000 on 1 and offset the other.

Bros, I've another question.

It seemed that I cannot JomPay with my PB credit cards. Only available accounts are my Savings. You guys seeing the same thing? PB's readme lists Credit Card as an option.

There's also a saying that some transaction on shoppee done after midnite somehow flowed back to the previous day. So *maybe* it's your local time.

Edit : Just paid with Visa on Shoppee and the payment gateway is Cybersource in US. If follow the payment gateway's local time, then 12-16 hours different. So far all my Mastercard goes to Australia.

Actually, just 1 month different no need to go through all the hassles right? Unless you cancelled in Aug, got your card in Aug 2018 and still billed, or plan to cancel the month before your anniversary.

The other thing is, you have 20 days to pay for your bill. So it is already late September when you pay.

You should be able to. 1 promo for new customers, 1 for new+existing customers.

You only won't be able to get more than 1 promo for new customers (for example, if you apply through RinggitPlus and then again directly through the bank, then you get only 1 goody).

The Shoppee 288 sounds like a better deal to me though, unless you couldn't spend $300 in 2 moons or don't like buying online. Bear in mind that you cannot apply other discount vouchers though, and the price without discount vouchers is higher than what I can get elsewhere. So effectively, it's worth like $210.

You have the link to the 200-100 promo? Need to read the T&C. I couldn't find it.
