Taman kinrara 5 here, still no upgrade

I just went to TM Point Kelana Jaya to downgrade from 30mbps Rm179 to 100mbps RM129, the agent did not mentioned anyone coming to my house tho.

But she said can use back STB for my hypptv without need to return and no need add RM30 fee for hypptv mentioned by others.


TK5 here, yesterday my house and neighbors line all went down around 5pm and back online around 1.30am.
We thought is turbo upgrade and went to speedtest but still same speed. lol

Not gonna wait for turbo upgrade? Just Rm10 difference.

If this is true, then the lady at TMPoint Kelana Jaya is telling a different story.
She mentioned can use back my STB to watch HyppTV that come with my 30mbps plan without any charges.

I just called to TM Sale department to confirm, if you are existing unifi customer with STB and downgrade to 100mbps, can use back the STB and no need to add RM30.

If new user 100mbps package and want the STB for hypptv then need to add RM30. If no add Rm30 then only can use phone or tablet to watch.

Not very sure on this tho, I went to TM Point for transfer ownership together with downgrade to 100mbps Rm129.

In my opinion, better to visit TMpoint and discuss directly with them, they might offer you better plan or alternative.

Which TMPoint did you visit? TMPoint and CS gave me same thing tho.

Adding another RM30 is bs to me since I already got STB. lol

RM10, charge to your bill. Need both parties with IC and thumprint

Maybe you can try other TM Point or different person.

My suggestion is you can try mentioned similar case like mine and let him/her double check with their superior on this.

If you have STB with your previous package, you may insist not add on the RM30 since what I understand from TM sales team the RM30 add on is meant for new user only.

Did not mentioned RM30 in the FAQ and I came across this statement above. Cannot add?

Lol, I tried using this feature before on Tenda AC18 Asus Merlin but no alerts at all.

Maybe no attacks or not compatible on AC18.

Maybe you can try digi 150 unlimited with huawei B618 router, but depends on digi coverage at your area.

How long does it takes to change to 100mbps after downgrade at tmpoint?

That was fast, maybe I check with TM tomorrow again. My order created today at 1pm tho, until now is pending status

Live chat agent not very helpful, my order created since 1pm yesterday but refuse to help me and insist me wait until 5pm without further checking.
