QUOTE(fruitie @ Sep 6 2018, 10:35 AM) Very unlikely if under contract because that is the argument TM will use against us. i am with you here on 2 reasons:However, if they are doing something for existing users then OK. Nevertheless, my 800Mbps still nowhere to be seen, I don't even know this day will come because our area is a newly covered by UniFi. TM struggled to upgrade my speed to 100Mbps from 50Mbps earlier, I really doubt 800Mbps can come soon. I don't want to keep paying extra for something which is uncertain. 1. i may only get upgraded to 800Mbps in june 2019 while still paying extra rm60 compared to rm129 new plan for another 9 months (9 x Rm60 x 6% = Rm572) 2. 100Mbps is sufficient for me QUOTE(jiaen0509 @ Sep 6 2018, 10:52 AM) Currently 100mbps for RM189. Contract ended on Nov,2018. Thinking to change downgraded to 100mbps for RM129. 100mbps is really enough for me. No need 800mbps. same here...but i was informed via livechat i can remove ultimate tv item and get rm60 reduction, which means down to Rm129 for 100Mbps to be upgraded to 800Mbps (although no definite time given) |

QUOTE(jiaen0509 @ Sep 6 2018, 11:53 AM) technically speaking...from 100Mbps to same 100Mbps is not downgradeQUOTE(dragna @ Sep 6 2018, 12:02 PM) I just spoke with CS and if you're coming from the UniFi Advance plans previously means we can't remove Ruby/Vatnam/Aneka/Ultimate. every CS speaks different story...i will wait till my contract ends and walk-in tm point to check QUOTE(westlife @ Sep 6 2018, 12:05 PM) frankly speaking, it is not something impossible. TM has done before which there are people getting two times speed upgrades previously and end up paying low price for the same plans as others and this is rare case some more. it is highly unlikely because you know why ?obviously it is TM problem that gives extra benefits to those lucky one. then there will be huge repercussion coming for those paying Rm189 for 100Mbps and about to be upgraded to 800Mbps (mind you not definite date given)...what makes you think those users will keep mum and do nothing bout Rm129 for 800Mbps ? QUOTE(kennydy1990 @ Sep 6 2018, 12:49 PM) So there is a chance for users that subscribe this new rm129 100mbps to get turbo upgrade next year? still don't wanna give up eh ? |

QUOTE(westlife @ Sep 6 2018, 02:11 PM) It depends, even the current 100Mbps rm179, 189 did not keep mum but almost no one still can get rm169. even for those who are on rm189 may not be able to get rm139 for those who successfully remove the unifi tv as well. erm...189 vs 169189 vs 129 guess which one will get more backlash ? |

ok...after multiple attempts to use livechat...here goes the salient points of conversation:
- Ruby pack can be removed now even though still in contract - rm30 reduction on bill - still eligible for turbo upgrade - after turbo upgrade, can still remove Ruby and get rm30 reduction however...i will still go to TMpoint to confirm as I don't want to take any risk.. currently on 100Mbps for rm189 This post has been edited by lyc1982: Sep 6 2018, 04:18 PM |

QUOTE(fruitie @ Sep 6 2018, 04:18 PM) Yes, if can reduce to RM 159 for now, good enough. I will try TM Point Menara TM soon if I'm not lazy to drop by before work. just curious...you planning to request for reduction before or after Turbo upgrade ?forgot to add: if i downgrade to rm129 plan now...no penalty fee, just refresh 2 years contract This post has been edited by lyc1982: Sep 6 2018, 04:21 PM |

QUOTE(MGM @ Sep 6 2018, 04:58 PM) nope...i checked one of the useless hypptv has to be bundled with your account...you can only remove either Ruby or whatever, or remove Ultimate and keep Ruby or whatever... QUOTE(OKLY @ Sep 6 2018, 05:21 PM) Sharing my story that happened last month. i have explained to TM that nobody would disclose their account numbers due to privacy issue but they still insist on the account number...so its a dead endLive chat told me the same but then another department handles the modification of an account. My report was pending for a few weeks until one day they removed the Ruby Plus pack but I did not get a reduction of RM30 as they adjusted the discount amount. So I’m still paying the same monthly fees. Questioned them why it wasn’t as per what I was told by live chat, they answered me that my package supposed to be RM189 per month so there will be no reduction in my monthly fee, they only remove the redundant Ruby Plus pack from my account and adjust the discount amount. Not satisfied I filed a complaint on MCMC, conclusion in the end was TM replying back saying RM189 for 100mbps is the lowest that they can offer. MCMC also could not do anything unless proven otherwise with an account number that is paying below RM189 for 100mbps and Ultimate pack which I believe nobody would want to disclose their account number. QUOTE(sHawTY @ Sep 6 2018, 07:39 PM) In a meeting LOL, cannot play video ikr...Another “bagi betis nak peha” guy You want turbo, stay with what you have You want cheap, take the RM129 plan but no turbo if rm129 100Mbps plan can be upgraded to 800Mbps....all the current 100Mbps users would immediately jump to this plan without hesitation, it's a no brainer QUOTE(stinky @ Sep 7 2018, 08:28 AM) This, will be upgrde to 500 in the future? another "bagi betis nak peha"unifi 50 Mbps (no Free 600 minutes call + pick one unifi tv pack + with stb + playtv app) = RM 129 (reseller/TMPoint) |

Kindly be informed that new packages price is depends on the current promotion. QUOTE(StuartLee2015 @ Sep 13 2018, 01:28 PM) I have been switching channels but can't get above 100mbps dude...just get the pc store guy to set it up for you and guarantee they have to make it work or you won't pay them...What if I get new router , new cables, new usb Wi-Fi adapter, and can't event hit pass 100 Mbps? asking here multiple times won't really help the situation QUOTE(fruitie @ Sep 13 2018, 02:14 PM) She said actually before 129 plan for 100Mbps was out, can walk in to TM Point to remove Ruby. She removed before. What?! i am in the same boat as you...Too late for me because system tak boleh now. just curious, did you confirm with her (tm staff) that the Rm10-30 reduction by removing Ruby will not affect the turbo upgrade later ? QUOTE(fruitie @ Sep 13 2018, 03:14 PM) She wanted to remove Ruby for me to retain Ultimate but system didn't allow. the reason i am asking is i am afraid by removing Ruby before the turbo upgrade might jeopardize the upgrade later...So, she tried to remove Ultimate and retain Ruby, then it only prompted RM 10 discount, she asked if I'm OK. No, in fact she is requesting Turbo for me to be installed within 2 weeks time. Let's see. so i plan to remove Ruby only after turbo upgrade... and indeed if Ultimate pack can be removed for its full value then it's Rm60...but based on my last chat with tm cs...only Rm30 the most btw...i thought tm has update for existing 100Mbps users this week ? |

QUOTE(emilyngsc @ Sep 13 2018, 03:48 PM) Yeah, I know your style. your story version is different from mine with tm...I'm back & the CS guy said he able to reduce to RM 129 without penalty & of course, my contract will be refreshed (2 years). Another option is to reduce RM 30 by removing the Ruby pack (Since I don't have Ultimate pack) & the contract remained the same. These two options will cause the Turbo upgrade terminated. He did check my account is eligible & confirmed will be received, but just a matter of time only. Furthermore, he suggested that I wait until I received the Turbo, then he will help me to remove the Ruby pack, but I'm doubt with this move so let see about it so I on hold the plan to remove the Ruby pack first. At the end of the day, I still need to wait the 800 Mbps Turb:o he said i can remove Ruby now and still be eligible for upgrade to 800Mbps...so not sure which is true now lol forgot to add...mine has ultimate pack too This post has been edited by lyc1982: Sep 13 2018, 03:55 PM |
