threw away the free router long time ago lol. this C9 was previously used as an AP for a Mikrotik R2011UAS, but when we got turboed to 800Mbps, it can only give us 250Mbps over lan. had to decomm the mikrotik and used the C9 as a temporary router.

so yeah, an AP that can pump out the theoretically speed of  800Mbps over WiFi would be nice. and yes, im well aware that none of our wireless device can support that much of speed at the moment.

Went to the TM Point in Johor Bahru Sentosa.  went there like 3 times already...keep telling her I've called "100" to confirm. But insist us pay RM200 

there's no fasttrack rules in its firewall though...
yeah, just checked. i7plus can only go up to 450Mbps. tried with Mi Mix 2 and I got 500Mbps instead.
Alcatel-Lucent I240G. Already ruled out the BTU because I can get full speed on LAN after replacing the Mikrotik with Archer C9.
Even I felt that the Lite alone is wayyy overkill for us, but what choice do I have? So much trouble just to enjoy free stuff.

just an idea here.... someday in the future a condo will fully LAN networked. Then JMB subcribe multiple 800Mbps business line then each 800mbps line distribute equally to 40 home owner with 20mbps each.    Share cost divided by 40 homes charged into maintenance bill. TM 100mbps line going to turbo is @ RM329/month, if you divide by 40 see how much 

Wow, Celcom came in with UNLIMITED now, Good News for those can't turbo or stayed in PORT-FULL area...

and it's CHEAPER alot...

Seeing got so many opting for 100mbps.. even some from 800 wanted to pay less for 100mbps..

Makes me wonder, do I need 300mbps? This is the way my house is using the internet

No more Astro,

Living room using mibox to run Astro go, parents and sister watching from astro go only. Sometimes Hypptv if watch NHK.

In my room, also watch astro go for on demand series. Some website drama streaming, iflix, playtv..  Mostly streaming.

Sometimes download torrent, ranging from 5-15GB .. movies..

I also backup photos to google drive. Upload is 50 vs 100mbps after upgrade.

I think that's pretty it.

So do you think I need 300mbps or 100mbps is more than sufficient for my use?

received a bonus from TM.... just yesterday get 100mbps for Rm129, just now got turbo-ed.... no wonder got 'order modified' submitted at 1831 hrs.... lol

Using TM equipment or bought your own? What brand n model?

Got a shock that my outstanding payment shows 289.50 (I overpaid 7.50) last month that means the bill was supposed to be 297.

The latest bill is not yet ready and I do have a feeling the CS in Menara TM may screw up my package and I am required to pay for penalty for UniFi TV.

Time to complain again.
