Nowadays I don't use any private ones, I just get from the typical public sites. If it's stuck or too slow, I will just use those magnet search and I will normally get more than 10 different torrents.

I doubt the thing I download most is on private anyway  brows.gif these siterip mega pack are usually purposely uploaded on these premium download sites which account cost like $20 per month
*
Whats the point of using private ones anyway? Dont they have fewer seeds? The best ones are when fellow unifiers are seeding (MY flag in peers tab)

I suppose back in the days, private ones have higher standard imposed on their uploader than public ones.  And due to the the high ratio rule, you could even download really old torrent at full speed. The community are helpful, the uploaders will normally upload something you requested
*
Sounds good.. any good invites for those sites pls? tks

But must we seed oso or just leech is ok?

it has only 1 lan port and if it's connected to the router via wired connection, it is no longer called client mode, that would be access point mode.  sweat.gif
yeah the firmware is damn old, 2015 I believe? But for the US version they released a new update early this year
user posted image
the main thing that I'm curious about is using it in 'client mode' vs any other 'usb3 receiver"
speed wise I am not worried because I do my main downloads on a pc with a wired connection sitting next to the router  laugh.gif
this is just to satisfy my curiosity xD
I see.. this is the answer I'm looking for  hmm.gif
Since you are pretty resourceful with networking hardware, perhaps you could source for 1 unit and do a review of it (wifi ap client mode vs usb3 receiver)?  laugh.gif

Wa the first consumer router that i have heard of can finally support different vlan for ssids.. Very useful for hypptv over wireless..

business and residential are using separated (different) DP (the grey box located behind your house) or above the shop lot. thus the port availability is different.
*
Can residential user request business dp?

Hey i found a new reason to aduan skmm on unifi.. https://www.skmm.gov.my/skmmgovmy/media/Gen...o-2-of-2016.pdf
It states best effort svc for hsbb should be 90.0% of subscribed speed 90% of the time.. not tm's crappy 80% standard.

Also 95.0% service uptime, service restoration within 48hours (including non-business days), and not more than 70% of uplink capacity of OLT per calendar month..

Tm annual report 2017
Page13
OUR PURPOSE
Share of Moments
Life is full of moments and in TM, we celebrate all the meaningful moments in our daily lives. Moments can be anything; from celebrating achievements, conversations with loved ones, or making new discoveries, we are compelled to share those moments with everyone who matter. In today’s era of convergence, moments are shared in real-time, as it happens across multiple digital platforms. Because we understand that each moment is important and meaningful, we have found our purpose to connect everyone to share all of their moments in the digital world through us, the one and only partner they can trust.
(Farking monopoly!!)
Daily, we share moments at home, at work or while we are on-the-go. Throughout 24 hours of the day as each moment is experienced, our customers are able to share their moments anytime, anywhere on any device with our range of services for individuals and businesses. Always, we are with them either via unifi, TM ONE or TM GLOBAL.
Each time our customers share their moments through us, it is translated into our share of wallet and in turn creates more value for all our stakeholders. Our share of wallet refers to the amount of our customers’ total spend in a household on TM (ie. ARPU). Today, connectivity to the digital world has become an important part of a household in making lives easier. Through this, we are able to increase our share of wallet by capturing more of customers’ share of moments, beyond homes, at any given part of the day.

Moments at Home + Moments at Work + Moments while On-the-Go = Being there for our CUSTOMERS’ SHARE OF MOMENTS --> Translates to OUR SHARE OF WALLET --> Creating VALUE FOR STAKEHOLDERS

Basically, TM purpose is to make money off you everywhere, every moment of your life be it work, home or on-the-go to make life easier as they are the one and only trusted convergence champion. Lmao

Will be faster get our PRAY if allowed MyRepublic to kick TM ass...
*
Myrepublic is preoccupied with their mobile business in singapore now.
Maxis is alr kicking their ass!

MSAP cost breakdown (per month)
Service Gateway (Layer 2 to maxis pppoe) Cost per Mbps: RM3.222 (uncontended)
Price per BTU and lastmile access: RM45
Installation: RM440 per btu (non-recurring), RM426 per service gateway (non-recurring)

Assuming contention ratio 1:25,
Cost of providing 100mbps connection, 24-month contract:
45 + 3.222*100/25 + 440/24 = RM76
30mbps = RM67
