I'm having the same situation as you. At 2.4G I'm getting same number as you while at 5G I'm getting 200Mbps. After reading some comments and 1st page most probably gotta chg wifi router. I'm using DIR-850L

Upgraded to 800Mbps plan but the speed is not so great! I'm using ASUS router AC68U, connected to 5GHz Wi-Fi, tested on iphone x and iMac.

i tried using the archer c9 instead, which was used as our AP. got these result.

problem solved, i guess. time to research for a more reliable one since even as an AP, the C9 would require a reboot after a week or two while the mikrotik can went on for months without issue.

My TM source says this is legit, and subscriber wont get the speed upgrade to 800M

What is the upload speed for 800Mbps? According to SoyaCincau it should be at 200Mbps but I am not going pass 100Mbps. Possible of mistakenly capping my upload? 
No QOS or anything and tried restarted. If download can do it, why not upload? 

yeah, and actual early birds paid RM199 for 5Mbps years back.
early birds paid RM149 for 10Mbps Unifi Lite.
early birds paid RM160 for 8Mbps Streamyx.

but there's always a chance in the future.
maybe not now, but though TM's unfair pricing is known,
there's always promo/bonanza/etc. throughout the year.

not sure how it's going to be next year though,
but with Maxis coming into the game and probably TIME or other players
lurking around the corner, suck it up and wait for the tide to calm down a bit.

Price competition aside, I really hate that long term contract. Back in streamyx day, it was 1 year contract. Why do all fiber offerings have minimum 2 years contract? 

Early adopters will always pay a premium. If you see the value in it then no sense waiting. But generally if you can wait then the cheaper and better services will be as critical mass builds and technology improves over time.
