From what i ask from CS, if u ask for termination from live chat, u need to go to TM Point after 30 days but if u straight go to the TM Point, u can ask for termination right away.

I have a question regarding the unifi upgrade.
Currently i am using 50MBps plan for unifi, and my router & modem is as below:

Modem: Huawei EchoLife HG850a GPON Terminal.
Router: D-Link DIR-615 Wireless-N router.



Once upgraded to 500mbps, i am wondering if both my model and router can support this speed boost?

Modem: YES/NO? --> i really dont know if Modem will affect the speed or not
Router: --> i know this is definitely NO, so its a must change

If No, i would like to ask suggestion on recommended modem/router based on budget range of "Budget/Mid-range/High end" as per you guys's opinion.

Thus, for BTU unit, in this case, TM are supposed to come and replace for us? Since no point using the old BTU while getting the speed upgrade.

My question would be, will TM take the lead in coming and replace the BTU for us without any request?
Or we need to request to TM to come and replace?
Both above is  considering the new BTU device is free.

Or we need to pay for new BTU unit?

Currently I am using AC68U and eligible to get turbo to 800M, currently my concern is can my AC68U support up to 800M via LAN cable without issue?

My BTU is Gigabit ready though and WiFi is not a major concern to me.

Get a gigabit LAN router, wifi can stay around 200Mbps. Should be more than enough. Wait till AX routers come out then spend your money there.
