Was looking at the trade up program... in slight dilemma, as I have an S7edge and IpX on hand to trade in.

Do I want to take the maximum offset of RM3200, and keep my old S7Edge, or vice versa with less offset value but higher than market price.

Any of you who trade up your phone previously with Samsung, may i ask how stringent is their checking and grading process? Do you bring the phone only or must be traded in with the box and its original accessories?

that is very poor answer given by them ....
1.  1 hour dunking, doesn't means it still have ip cause some water damage is not instant.
2.  Dunk/soak it for hour is super layman term to test IP. (it actually no)

Might as well cancel/cut off the ip rating expenses and reduce the pricing..
I mean, or at least myself and friends never water damage on our phone
If not mistaken, there's certain fee to obtain those rating

as i said, IP n water warranty is two totally different issue, if they found water damage in phone and reject ur warranty claim is their right, if water damage is cause by IP FAIL (yes is ISO (not /k alexky ISO) and full responsibility) you can claim and that is ur RIGHT.

why no way ? a simple pressure test will do, if they fail to provide you pressure test result, that is their issue already .... that is one condition on how they obtain IP rating.
