My personal experience advise those after open repair phone need extra care toward water. don't over confident with their water resistance.
IP68 is probably valid only for new unit.

My S7E experience change motherboard at Samsung SC.
Before that i use to taking picture of my kid under water in swimming pool couple of times. it was total fine.
After change motherboard unfortunately 1st attempt go in water not even 1 minute the phone just bye bye.

SC refuse to accept the claim, luckily i success convince them by getting special approval from HQ to repair for me by sign 1 time water damage claim agreement.

Since that day even my unit still under warranty but unable to claim the same defect if happen because of water damage again.

what casing is nice with copper?
going for clear casing?

i am thinking colour doesnt really matter when the casing cover entirely.
