Our same old world class jokers providing the comedy in every match. If it’s not Bellerin it’s Cech if not then Xhaka if not then Mustafi.

Xhaka should’ve been off and not Guendouzi.

But sigh this means we will be seeing him more often. Scoring the goal doesn’t take away the fact that he is shit.

Notice how everytime torreira enters the pitch we play much better and usually score?

The Newcastle keeper is woeful though. A better keeper would’ve saved both Xhaka and Ozil’s efforts.

Nah I doubt we changed anything.

Torreira is just a proper DM and his positioning is fantastic. He literally closes the gap between defense and midfield forcing Newcastle to go wide even if they do not have anything on for them.

The link between Newcastle’s midfield and striker has been effectively cut out. Perez isn’t getting as much freedom anymore.

Giroud still proving his value. Really aiyo to let him go... but also hard to remain him while bringing new striker in.

Just one game and he is proving his value? lol

Don't get me wrong, Giroud is a very very good player and I do rate him but he doesn't score enough. Simple as that. You may talk about his link up play, one touch etc etc but at the end of the day goals is what you want from a striker.

Plus his link up play and one touch passing, when it comes off its beautiful, when it doesn't its frustrating as hell. And at the end of the day, how often do they really come off? An odd game every 3-5 games if we are lucky even during his Arsenal days.

With Auba and Laca it was right to move him on. I'd pick Auba and Laca any day over Giroud.

Good to see him doing well though.

Sokratis gooding in this game.

Yup that was one of the biggest positives.

Looked like Per version 2.0 during preseason and the earlier BPL games but was really accomplished last night.

Fuh Iwobi looks like a man on a mission. He has been our best player so far.

Tbf to Leno I doubt any keeper would’ve been able to save that. Licht got burned.

Mustafi was an idiot to put a teammate under pressure as well.

Both clowns.
