I signed up with Stashaway. They WhatsApp me requesting for my IC.
I attached my IC and they didn't reply me with any confirmation. Is it supposed to be like this? I'm expecting some sort of confirmation like "info received, thanks". |

QUOTE(Ancient-XinG- @ Feb 7 2019, 01:40 PM) Cause Stashaway uses ETFs passive , vs fsm active management, which as of now the funds is way below their benchmarks. ETF tracks the index closer and with lower cost.QUOTE(Krv23490 @ Feb 7 2019, 01:55 PM) In a way you could, but which US funds are you holding. StashAway should be definitely cheaper and more well-rounded i guess US TA Tech fund |

Quite all-rounded the etfs provided by SA(depends on risk index i guess)US TA Tech fund |

QUOTE(preducer @ Feb 7 2019, 04:48 PM) some tried it before, couldn't remember who but it will definitely take couple of days, they will need to sell, bring back the money, conversion then trf to your bank account not sure if someone enquire on this beforesaid if today i submit withdrawal, my portfolio value is $1000, with currency impact +$100, theoretically i should get $1000 (value when i submit withdrawal) in my bank acc but they take time to sell, convert etc, which would be done maybe T+1, T+2 on the day T+1, T+2, the currency impact might become -$100 so end out they will follow the impact/rate on the day they convert/sell, which mean end out i might only get $900? QUOTE(tadashi987 @ Feb 7 2019, 04:59 PM) not sure if someone enquire on this before I believed it is forward pricing. so t+whatever day they actual convert. otherwise, they exposed themselves to exchange rate risksaid if today i submit withdrawal, my portfolio value is $1000, with currency impact +$100, theoretically i should get $1000 (value when i submit withdrawal) in my bank acc but they take time to sell, convert etc, which would be done maybe T+1, T+2 on the day T+1, T+2, the currency impact might become -$100 so end out they will follow the impact/rate on the day they convert/sell, which mean end out i might only get $900? |

I dont see them losing anything, we are the losing party if the rate goes down. |
