Good FC wei.  drool.gif
Mine RM50 can only do three hundred plus, even though meter shown 6.7L/100km  ranting.gif
*
it's on highway anyway, when low gear and brake are lesser in used maybe.
In my back home to Melaka, the FC was much higher a bit than before as MANY places in Perak and northern part of Selangor, PLUS closed one lane making the single lane bottleneck and the jam back to few km.

Any one encounter after engine off, the fan still running for 10-15 minutes itself before off?
*
the same symptom happened to my friend's persona, the radiator is leaking and fan keep running due to overheating.

Does the steering now becomes tighter like new car?  cool2.gif

don't feel anything that obviously tight or light, but the color of the oil looking good from the cup, clear reddish vs previously macam kopi 0 😁

Symptoms that your battery is getting weak.
*
hmm.. checked the battery and alternator, both are good and can deliver decent voltages so far, the last culprit is now the starter. 2 out of 20 successful cranks, producing tak tak and that's the last culprit to look on. However, it is still can start after few attempts.

Speaking about IAFM.. my car already sounded like a diesel engine from day 1.. I can't differentiate whether it is functioning or not
*
IAFM is a common problem, lucky many workshops can get it done.

Hi, does anyone know how to open up the rear dashboard as I want to change my speakers. The speakers hold between the frame and the softboard on top. To get the speakers I believe I need to remove the top first. I am looking for any screws or pin holding it, bit still can't move it. This is the base line model, any guides helpful as all accessories shops are still close. Thanks.

anyone? I guess many PE owners no longer using this model now haha lol.

There's 2 clips at the rectangle depress in between rear speakers. Have you tried remove that two first? By the way the speakers covers of mine warped due to heat as I parked my car under sun. Think at worst you still can access speakers by removing the speaker cover on rear panel.
*
There are 5 pins, 2 at the middle and 3 just behind our neck, bit hidden behind the rear headrest. Since mine is base model, have to remove the chair first, follow by the left and right cover behind the quarter glass. Than I can pull the softboard, but still can't open it fully. Lucky can reach the 4 screws from the new gap. The position of sandwich, where speakers are located between the frame and the softboard is really troublesome if want to change the speakers. Can't open it from below, need to open the board at the top first which is very difficult to, but doable after 2 days of trying.
Thanks.

Guys wanna ask,

is the 2012 Persona Elegance 1.6 High Line still worth it to buy today? I see carlist around RM16k..

I driven the persona elegance before and like the handling, but dunno if I should buy one myself in 2020.

Also, might need to upgrade infotainment to connect android and touchscreen
*
If the affordability is the max you may have, I think why not? still great to drive, having speed and good handling.
I just changed to android 9" player, nicely fit into the HU compartment without any problem.

Cool man how much is this? Can recommend the shop? Tks

I am in Melaka and bought the HU there as well. For our persona, best size to fit is 9", seen 10" but it will covering the top panel and the blower dialer. The price bought rm800+ including the outer frame casing and installation charge.

Done replacing all the necessary parts, mostly rear suspensions and all the connected parts, except lower arm bar. Feel good when take corners, no more feel swinging and those squeaking sound. 2 Goodyear Triplemax assurance, 2 kayaba absorbers, tulang anjing left and right. Now I am going bto replace my engine mount next, any good reliable brand should I go to apart from the original proton. Seems that the original is quite expensive compare to any after market brand.

Quite a lot of upgrade.
How much damage?  cool2.gif

Engine mounts not expensive but labor is. bruce.gif

damaged about rm1.1k, but I am satisfied with the outcome. My 2011 persona is getting younger again at least for coming years of 2 or 3.

still using this oldie, with frequent maintenance, rattling here and there, immediate repair or change parts before it's too late and costly to repair. Hitting 200k of mileage and still good, hopefully for another 5 years and above.
