Asked around in AutoHausKL workshop. if schmaco brand around rm500, if original proton is over rm500.
Wouldn't recommend Schmaco brand. I used it previously, within 2-3 mths kong liao become weak. Would recommend going for Mitsubishi OEM ones. Harder and more reliable. Per set around 180-210 for auto persona excluding installation.
Include installation around how much? Is it better than proton Ori parts?
installation around 150-180 i think.. cant recall, change damn long ago. I would say the same as proton ori or slightly more harder. harder means slightly more vibration but lesser torque loss.
are Anshin Co. Ltd drive shaft reliable? was quoted RM 245 each side.
asking for original most work shop say expansive some they say they never order original proton drive shaft before. proton sc say original drive shaft is about RM800 ! !!

Gaido is good. GSP and Anshin are the cheapest one u can get. Gaido going for 370 per pair in Shopee.
Any brand of heavy duty shock absorbers to recommend? My July 2019 installed left front Excel-G leaking oil.
If u have a budget of RM1.2-RM1.5k, i recommend changing to IMP Comfort Sport series. Lasted me more than 120k km, after that i rebuild it at PRS suspension in Balakong for RM800.
Since your shocks are relatively new, i recommend going to PRS for a full service. probably cost u 600-800 tops and u have an absorber thats better than new. Btw u can tweak ur settings at PRS, as he can adjust the oil pressure, flow rate for u to make it better.
A lot of people say our old persona can use Ns60 battery which is cheaper than Din55r?
Don't know why our battery so expensive, even more so than new persona with so much more electronics!

U would have to use NS70 as a replacement. I tried before, it involves modifying the bottom mount bracket. NS70 is the tied down type vs DIN55R is the bottom latch type. I would suggest just sticking to DIN55R as NS70 battery will slide around since persona doesnt have the tie down to hold it firmly.
By the way anyone have solution of always breaking foglight? Or it's meant to be broken one? Almost every few months my foglight pecah because kena batu.
Persona ori fog light made from glass cover. Very easy to pecah. U can change to after market with plastic cover and just put on a clear tint on it.

Any tint will do.. those that cover the headlamps will work well.

i changed mine for RM250. Recon IAFM including throttle body cleaning + trade in IAFM. Basically they remove the plastic flap that is causing the issues in it. If changing to a new unit with the flap is around 550 ish.
