QUOTE(neochaser5 @ Jan 11 2019, 03:57 PM) was supposed to be my last post but here i go.. The car total lost ? Omg. Thank god ur wife is safe. Thanks bro. She is fine. Some motorcycle cut to her lane so she avoided it but she lost control and went through the middle divider. Miraculously she only suffered minor arm bruises but the car was on it's side when she gained consciousness. She also hit the signage with smashed to the windscreen. luckily it was tinted to it didn't shatter. |

Just solved the water leaking into cabin issue. Foreman pluck out the old bitumen glue on the weather plastic sheet inside the door and replaced with new one.

QUOTE(inferno_17_85 @ Apr 3 2019, 03:40 PM) My car also like that. Mostly fan belt worn out. But it's not some big problem that. Mechanic's advice was if i can tahan the noise, i can wait until it scream all the time then only replace it if i want. how much does a fan belt cost? I think quite cheap only right. Do anyone here experience rattling sound from front doors? Its something inside. Mostly when the weather is cooler like in the morning there is sound. Hot afternoon no sound. |

QUOTE(inferno_17_85 @ Apr 4 2019, 10:49 PM) Yeah it's not really expensive... But mine is suspect it was damaged quite prematurely because of my belt tensioner. Zordaq replaced mine with stronger CFE's tensioner for better durability, as persona one lost their tensile strength quite fast comparing to tensioner of other car. I found a youtube video showing how to solve the rattling sound but I havent tried it yet. I dont wanna tear off the weather shield LOL. maybe one day I will do it.But this is just my speculation la.. On the rattling sound probably you can check if you want to fix weather membrane in future. Totally no idea which part of the mechanism caused that... |

QUOTE(delsoo @ Apr 29 2019, 07:16 AM) About 2 months ago. Not sure if oil still dripping to the floor. I think need to clean the engine bay and the under carriage first... Before u changed the seal , oil also dripping like that ? My foreman ask me to clean the engine bay after doing so I can know it’s still leaking or not in the future. |

QUOTE(inferno_17_85 @ Jun 6 2019, 11:51 AM) If you want to keep your car then I would advocate you to change it, don't forget to do full flush and refill using either pre-mixed coolant, or dilute your coolant using distilled water only. OMG, my foreman uses pipe water + coolant. Might need to check on your water pump and thermostat for rust also, as the fin might be damaged by rust as well. If you don't plan to keep it, just service it and trade in. How's your idling rpm? If idling rpm high then might be some vacuum leak that you need to check for. I was thinking could it be the flap stuck in short channel so it behaves a bit like old gen2? Try bringing it to highway speed to activate the short channel and reduce speed to make IAFM change back to long channel. But this is my 2 cents la... Otherwise it's just your ECU trying to readapt to the new manifold. Give it time to learn? Normally whats the mileage to do radiator coolant flushing? I done it on 100k mileage lasst time, now its approaching 200k km already. |

Just changed all 4 engine mounting for RM330 including labour, of course it’s non ori, the foreman said ori one cost 500 haven’t add in labour. Hope it will last.
Add on, also done ECU tuning and injector cleaning , cost bout 135. Now the car feel very light and more powerful and also quiet , less vibration , I think due to new mounting too. Like a new car already. This post has been edited by anakMY: Jun 29 2019, 08:27 PM |

QUOTE(powerwoot @ Jun 30 2019, 03:17 PM) Damaged rm280 for 2 new tyres, GY Triplemax assurance. 1 rim need to be repaired, must be langgar lubang before this which I am not aware at all. Adjusted the camber, replaced the valves, some new nuts and bolts, of course alignment and balancing, all at RM430. Feel smooth drive now. Excellent job by the mechanic who did the rim repaired, no longer feel wobbly now. GY triplemax assurance 2 or 1? RM140 per piece? thats very cheap for persona's tyres. Seems like there are good review on this triplemax assurance 2. Ppl say very quiet and good wet grip. Im currently on my 3rd sets of toyo neo, planning to change to triplemax if its so good. |
