Go overhaul much cheaper, search forum for alternator overhaul thread. But if your distance too far then don't take the risk because you're rely on battery to powered your car.

Thinking of changing the timing belt, car is about 5 yrs + , clocked 69k km so far . Should i chnage it now ? or can i chnage it later ? maybe anout reaching 80k km  ? Any other things to be changed together with the timing belt ? What's the estimated cost if i do it at proton sc ?

Well, another is the EO. I am using semi EO, clocked about 3500km in 6 months, should i chnage the EO every 6 months ? Or still can use it ?

Hi, does anyone know how to open up the rear dashboard as I want to change my speakers. The speakers hold between the frame and the softboard on top. To get the speakers I believe I need to remove the top first. I am looking for any screws or pin holding it, bit still can't move it. This is the base line model, any guides helpful as all accessories shops are still close. Thanks.

There are 5 pins, 2 at the middle and 3 just behind our neck, bit hidden behind the rear headrest. Since mine is base model, have to remove the chair first, follow by the left and right cover behind the quarter glass. Than I can pull the softboard, but still can't open it fully. Lucky can reach the 4 screws from the new gap. The position of sandwich, where speakers are located between the frame and the softboard is really troublesome if want to change the speakers. Can't open it from below, need to open the board at the top first which is very difficult to, but doable after 2 days of trying.

My PE ada touchscreen dual din player since 2011. Just dont expect Android 9" screen la, the car was designed in 2006.

My persona C.E.L is on, it caused the car unable to accelerate smoothly and gear does not change smoothly too.
The rpm goes up to 2-3krpm and then it seems can't go up (the speed up to around 30-40).
Slow down the car, rev again, and it moved up as usual but that time C.E.L is already on.

Check with PADT, shows O2 sensor error code.
Change to new O2 sensor twice, do reset and the C.E.L is still on after drive few kms.

What seems to be the actual problem here?

I own 2008 M line Persona. Was thinking to rebuild/revive it. But I don't have any idea what I need to do to it to make it tiptop condition again. Well, at least make it capable to be use without issue for another 5-10 years. Any recommendation is highly appreciate. And If anyone from around JB area please recommend me a good Workshop that good and trusted to do the job.

Anyone have Catalytic converter leaking issue ? When engine cold to start engine can smell exhaust near Catalytic converter area. i also checked in exhaust shop no any pressure leak.

possible inside catalytic converter block? should i change  4-2-1 aftermarket 1? my car  in 180k km d.
