Carbs will make you crave for more carbs, here's why:

Carbs or sugar intake immediately converted to glucose by saliva, ready to use by body at the very first instances, however insulin spike will convert excess glucose in stored fats in say the belly for future use. After the spike is over, your body starts craving for more again. This vicious cycle is repeated and the process of of storing the energy is repeated but this process is quite taxing to our organs, where the liver or kidneys are working round the clock just to store up excess energy, what for? So this is the reason to avoid carbs.

But but but...I don't crave for more. I eat to fit my macros. I dont eat to fit my appetite. Follow whatever you want. I follow whatever I want. I just want people to know what and how that 'diet' works before blindly going into it. I eat protein carbs fats, depending on my mood, because I know how much and what am I eating.

So for fatty like you who has lots of fat reserve, just drink plain water. Your body will tap your TDEE calories from within.

The one Meal a day is it consider a full meal that consist probably about 500-800 Kcal?
In between , we take smaller meal around 200 kcal . Usually, a good meal balance is about 5 small meals spread out in a day .
So if it's 1 Meal you mentioned above, i assume it's a filler to make it last longer. Usually i will take this meal for lunch but not exceeding above 500 -800 kcal.

unless you are living in Ethiopia, most people do not have issue of lack of energy from diet.

are you confused between burning fat as compared to liver cleansing? Common Sense of eating correctly and what you ate naturally and how you ate normally like OMAD diet will caused your liver work lesser . You can't remove excess toxic if there's too much fatty liver covering up your livers right.

did keto for a month, i would say yes i feel lighter, the first few days you can see you are getting slimmer because losing body water, thus you need to take salt (healthier salt)

but there is the bad side of it which is you will have keto flu for the first few weeks, you need to eat more salt, and if you would stick for the strict one, 20gram of carbs per day....depends on your preference.

I know some cancer survivor practice this diet because cancer cells can't live without glucose.

Lol not everyone have the dedication and mental focus like that unfortunately. Everyones will be ripped if it's that easy to do.

The idea is simple, but execution is another different story, hence the reason why diets like intermittent fasting, keto exist.

fasting without water is bad. fluids is recommended throughout the day for keto diets.
