Hi guys, I using HiMedia H8 Lite Octa Core (1G RAM+8GB) to play 3D movie ISO 40GB file size. The video able to play by H8 but blank (black screen) screen only, I can hear the audio and subtitle running at the background. Hence my TV could detect 3D signaling sent from H8 and switch my TV into 3D mode automatically.

Tried 2 different files but same result. Is the H8 could not support the latest contents?

H8 lite: blank screen but at least have audio and subtitle
Q5 Pro: blank screen, no audio and no subtitle but seem playing at the back ground.

Checked Q5 firmware via online. It is latest version. I using Pioneer VSX820 with LE830 and it should not handle the TV contents and the HDMI supported 3D

i will try native player with 2D options tonight to try out again.
At least Kodi + Wrapper is working now, spent a night to troubleshoot hardware piece by piece within small TV cabinet.
My TV was 3D supported, it can convert 2D to 3D but the picture are bad, the converted 3D almost flat as 2D.
But still the best is 3D come from the video file contents and media player itself, seriously nice to view especially snowing scene.
my pioneer VSX820 receiver about 6-7 years old, not sure it can support 3D contents.
I assumed it should can since it don't process the video and pass through.

However unsure whether HDMI cable itself effecting the output quality.
H8 - no video, but have audio and subtitle thru AV receiver with same HDMI cable
Q5 - no video, no audio and no subtitle thru AV receiver with same HDMI cable

Usually I will go for 40GB file only for good movies and normally nothing happen till last few days ago.

My AV could not update firmware, simply a basic AV thay 7 years old which not that high tech yet. But sharp TV could update the firmware and unsure I should try it or not.
Actually I not idea what the function of wrapper.

Since U highlight any wrapper, I simply do changes this morning, selected "Kodi Player" and TV could display in 2D at least. If I choose back "Wrapper Player" which seem required username password (for Samba?) and not contents display at TV at all.

I tried to play 3D iso from media center native player but could not show content too. Later I will limit the native player to playback in 2D only.

i got Q5 trying to watch YouTube 4K.. done  reset all..still unable to stream 4K YouTube here... highest possible is 1080@60p

isit becoz of HDMI (need above 1.4A?) or any sideload APK YouTube?

my internet is 30Mbps..

able to install and run the apps... still base stat.... only able to view Full HD.. maybe my HDMI cable not 2.0 ?
