The function of heat barrier is a function of infrared wave block....good films should block at least 90% of irr....
The problem is, that also block most of visible light....and never compliant with jpj rule....
Good films block irr while letting enough light through....the technology is expensive....
Do note that even v kool 70% light transmission film cannot comply with jpj....as the car will already has some tint....

QUOTE(rooney723 @ Aug 16 2018, 10:07 PM) tbh, i really regret didnt go for no brand tint, my rm2.5k++ 3M crystalline tint is so terrible at rejecting heat and the car is always as hot as no tint at all, 3M say this is the best heat reject tint but its hot like hell inside every time my car is parked under sunlight if this kind of performance i might as well go for those few hundred punya tint maybe kena scam........ go to 3m to get the tint tested
