It's insane how big difference the price between this two. Branded one can cost easily RM1.5K but the non-branded ones can be as cheap as RM200+.
In reality, is there any difference between this two? What's the difference?
Should I go for non-branded car tint?

HUGE difference, my car is on 3M Crystalline 60/70. Been using 3M since my first car, 12 years ago. You won't regret it. But price now is around RM2k for whole car. Good thing is you save on petrol as your car cools much faster. Don't bother putting non-branded car tint, and besides UV rejection, the infrared rejection is important too

QUOTE(popice2u @ Jul 30 2018, 09:17 PM) save petrol.....brapa boleh save? If you're caught in traffic on a hot sunny day, with a good tint, you don't have to full blast the AC continuously. On a super hot day, I just put level 2 fan speed. That's quite some savings there i believe

And even if you do turn off completely the savings is minimal.

Depends on how you think. Branded at least no bubble for a long long long time. Until you change car also no problem.
Non branded. Might have bubble. Disgusting.
But then again. With the price, you can always change fron one no brand to another no brand whenever there is bubble.

The tint shop will not guarantee the demister will not damage when they remove the film. Have to take note on this.

Recently was shopping around for tint also. After researching and visiting different places, finally settled on RayTech. Got the RM1100 package. Can really feel the difference when they show you the demo.
Plus, look at all the cars with ugly bubbles on their low quality tint. You really wanna be one of them?

Hundred over tint also can be good meh? My company car tint 400- 500 cheapo no brand, at first very dark, after few weeks faded and worst can see transparent lines caused by rubbing from opening and closing of windows. It's like they paint color on the tint surface and get rubbed off
