Just get an IDE is good enough since SATA will no give a lot of differences in performance because in the end, it will only limit by USB speed except if u got a casing that support e-SATA... this just a recommendation, u can get either Cooler Master Xcraft Enclosure 2.5" or maybe Vantec Nexstar 2.5" (both of this come with pouch/wallet) or any cheap enclosure will do if your budget is limited..

QUOTE(Hybrified @ Jun 30 2007, 04:31 PM) emm can i know more bout esata ?? i read thru the 5 pages but still kinda blur ... my mobo got sata(raid) slot, so what to do with the esata for my casing ok, e-sata is actually allow you for removable connection but with the speed of sata, but no, you cannot plug an e-sata to your mobo sata port because e-sata is a different port from the existing sata port(additional port) usually, when u bought a sata hdd and got an enclosure that support e-sata, the e-sata port will be coming along with the package... p/s: maybe others can add more on e-sata....
