There are certain counters with the card terminal, just inform the officer that you want to pay with cc..

Avoid checking BP's balance via Cirrus, as it is a chargeable service for other prepaid card (RM2), not sure if Bigpay won't charge.
*
OT, I tried once before, checking CIMB MasterCard balance with non CIMB ATM. Then there is a service charge on this (can't recall how much)... bangwall.gif

For normal swipe its still worth it as the exchange is almost the same if not better , and also it save you the hassle for you to withdraw directly rather than change it at money changer.
So far i never see any MBB atm over here , very difficult to see maybank .

Maybank is the boss behind Bigpay and Boost. Same day posting if using Maybank cards right?
Maybank know everything that we don't know. Maybank assign the MCC and change the descriptions, not the clients such as BP and Boost.
Maybank just close one eye in the past few months, let CC users falling into the traps. Now it is time to stop their game and start charging interest if someone overuse their credit and unable to pay CC debt in full.

There's also JCB, which is widely used in countries like Japan...

Heard that it's coming soon for GoPayz as well.

Between Unionpay and JCB, JCB is like a super rare gem in our country. icon_idea.gif

Southern Bank / CIMB used to issued JCB card before... biggrin.gif

I remember someone who work at Aeon Credit told me before, Aeon Credit planned to issue JCB card, but don't know why end up with Aeon Japan Club Visa... hmm.gif

No. Visa and MasterCard are too powerful all the while.
Amex, JCB and Diners are weaker.
Unionpay is new but it is backed by Chinese banks. It is now bigger than Visa+MasterCard combined, so it will be our choice soon.

I miss those days with Diners Club Card.. wink.gif
