Service Tax was introduced in 1975, not by Najib or Mahathir or LGE.
Service Tax 2.0 (from 9/2018) doesn't apply on most of banking services including ATM withdrawal fee, service charge, IBG fee, cheque fee etc.
If Prestopay charge RM2.12, it is nothing wrong as they can set any pricing. Just like Boost charges RM2, VCash charges RM1, Bigpay charges RM6.
But if Prestopay charge RM2 + SST RM0.12, then it may be wrong as the basic service is not subject to SST.

GST applies to everything except exempted goods/services.
SST applies to selected goods/services only. It is wrong to charge SST if the goods/services are not selected by Govt.

Some professional services are subject to SST.
Unless PrestoPay/Kastam insist that it is a part of "professional" service.
Ask Kastam/Prestopay why PrestoPay charges SST! But make sure they are charging already, eg you have a copy of tax invoice/receipt.

It doesn't mean they are charging RM2+RM0.12.

It is just a general statement. The Director of Kastam can add or remove the SST items from time to time, beyond control of any merchants or service providers.

If it is not subject to SST, the statement is still valid but RM2(+RM0).

So get a receipt showing they are charging RM2+RM0.12 then ask Kastam/Presto.

Unionpay 30% acceptance
Wechat/alipay (china version) 99.9% acceptance
