Reason is simple, everyone is rushing taking each other bandwidth and when the system cannot cope, timeout. Then everyone try again. Rinse and repeat until some give up then you'll be able to top up.

There's no rush at all.

I am very against BP implementing this.

But not because I am abusing it, it's because I use BP like what BP should be used for, good foreign transaction rates. Now, when I go overseas or pay in USD/GBP, so much hassle indeed.

They should just charge withdrawal fees, instead of RM 6, probably 2%, so if you withdraw RM 4k, that would be RM 80 of fees.

Just curious, if you use CASA/DC to top up, you save RM80 of fee, why CC is a must?

Because I still do wanna take advantage of CC cashback, who doesn't? And the 21 days interest free.

But thing is I don't abuse to withdraw, or don't use the BP card to spend. Just top up and use the BP card like your other credit card for your expenditure.

What do you do with your Bigpoints since I can't redeem my flights now. I have couple of thousands expiring end of this month but don't know the best place to utilise them.

hi can someone advise what are the rates for MYR to AUD?

or provide me a screenshot here? thanks

I am currently is oz and my friend say it follows the xe.com rates.

tried to sign up but i seem to need a local number which i dont. need to see if feasible to go get one. thanks.

You can't check the exchanging rates from the app (unless you are transferring to AUD account which is a diff set of rates).

XE is a pretty good benchmark and it won't run far.

My experience is if you transfer on a weekend, don't expect to get your money till the next working day end of day.

Missed the boat. Oh well, I guess this month I'll skip LFC and JOP rebate (<3%).

I will focus on Affin, PB and Citi.

Finally I got a call from "Bigpay A Asia Big". Been waiting for this call finally it's my turn.

Called me asked me if I've received the new Bigpay card red colour platinium. I answered yes, I think caught him by surprised. Then asked me really when? I say 2 weeks back by post and already using this new red Bigpay card and I like how big the platinum word so I can show off to people.

Then he "checked" and it's not in the "system" need me to register. I say ok. Asked me my postcode, city, state and last 4 digits of my IC no. Tembak those details for him and he say ok, already in the system and then I received OTP. He say read to him the OTP, I gave him wrong one and he asked me to read properly. I say I read correctly and he resend 2nd OTP. Finally he realised I was playing with him and he say he'll ask "Bigpay" to block my account. I told him go ahead. laugh.gif

But for safety reason, I transferred all the money to another account for save keeping first.

It's a whatsapp call from +60176505369. Sounds like Indo accent.

I have one transaction of RM 500 transacted using Maybank card at a supermarket and until today it is not charged to me yet. It has been more than 4 years, gonna be 5 years soon.

I guess already write off. laugh.gif

So, anything can happen and I still have the card now but with different expiry date already. tongue.gif

Had the same experience with maybank card about 7 years ago. The transaction worth rm2199. I even called both merchant and maybank after 1 month to make sure they charge it correctly. The merchant said they had successfully charged it in their system but maybank said nothing on their side. In the end I got it for free. Rezeki for me. 😊
*
I had one experience also. Transaction was reversed for some reason and was never deducted back again. So I got the thing free, I think was around RM 900 or so. Many years liao. I think more than 7 years so cannot claw back lol.

Wow didn't know so many gained from non-posting, if say small amount ok la, but 2199 is huge yet being overlooked....

I think nowadays systems are more advance. So lesser and lesser transactional error compare to like 8 or 10 years back.

Not only the app is down, tried purchasing something online also can’t go through. How to become a big Fintech player? No failover?

Sounds like very typical AA routine.

Hopefully no data breach.
