Further updates on my love-hate journey of ownership with the new CX-5... So far, have sent it into kilang twice, after numerous complaints & emails with HQ and whatnot feels like talking to a brick wall..

Below are the issues I highlighted previously (thanks all sifus for advice & support as always esp. Duckies & voncrane & others):

- interior rattling on passenger side dashboard
Fixed (twice), then sound came back after a few days, even worse now 

- rattling on driver right side... Don't know where. Happens around 1k rpm esp when car just started
Fixed (once), sound still there but less loud than before

- top ceiling empty tin sound suspect the clip not fixed and whole ceiling can be pushed up
They forgot to put foam in the ceiling resulting in the noise, now they have added foam and it feels more solid

- when going on speed bumps or speed strips loud sound seems to be from the back / boot area. Metal sound like an old pickup truck
Undercarriage was loose, they said they tightened the undercarriage

- engine starting in the morning seems much louder than the usual warm up sound
This is normal. No issue

- back door on driver side have to slam extra hard to close
Seems OK now. They loosened it a little

- scratch on my gear panel (need to wait 3 months to order parts)
Gear panel replaced

Notes:-

So far still driving with the old car noise especially in the dashboard, and certain back passenger area (can't pinpoint).

Also, probably common knowledge by now but each time in SC the car come back with >100km used, the oil consumption (with my sayang driving style) down from 11.4 to 10.0 within 2 days (!)    Don't know how they rev my car

Just to share further, after much fuss and reluctance they did provide a M2 courtesy car on my previous (2nd) warranty kilang party. The petrol given was practically empty (first thing need to find petrol station) and the car was full of ants, I know I shouldn't complain but now I have a totally different view on this Mazda brand after this experience. Next, I will try the Glenmarie showroom and hope I get a better experience there. (Funny thing is, the M2 car probably been abused heavily and such since it is a company / courtesy car, but inside feels much more solid & totally devoid of any rattling sounds - totally quiet  )

Apart from this I can say this is really my dream car, I feel so happy just looking at it and the LED lights switch on when I unlock, such a beautiful car. Just sent it to Waxson for pampering car spa & liquid wax recently.
