I just started using this card, within one month of usage my statement billed me RM25 service tax already. shouldnt it be charged upon annual renewal?

Manage to cancel 6 out of 7 cards. Save one for emergency use and premium lounge usage

The most hardest to cancel is rhb. Die die want me to keep the card with so many tempted offers

The best is CIMB cards, offered RM10+10 if retain and spend an amount but need to wait for another month or two after the spending,
I received RM10 a few weeks later, spent it, then cancel, the CS checked and knew I spent away the RM10, so no more retention offered laugh.gif

Some credit card companies can offer waiver for SST of RM25 but not CIMB. Need to use the bonus points for redemption. Disappointed with CIMB CC this time.

sst charged on my mbb 2 cards
called to cancel the visa and apply for waiver
cs super nice i oso paiseh ask to waive for amex also
just use point to pay for the amex sst, not too expensive

i applied to waive
just checked unbilled balance, it is waved after 10 days on 30th oct rclxms.gif

They allow you to cancel 1 of the maybank 2 cards? I called last month still cannot.

this has been posted in the maybank 2 card thread for quite some time and many ppl were able to cancel it
