Marco Motta is delighted to be a Roma player and has thanked everybody at the Olimpico following his permanent transfer to the Giallorossi.

The Under-21 full-back moved to Rome from Udine on loan last January and proved his worth during the past six months.

“I am enthusiastic about this,” claimed the now former Udinese player.

“I would like to thank the club and the Coach who had faith in me. The supporters also deserve my praise for the way they have always shown me their appreciation.”

Motta, who is preparing for the European Under-21 Championship semi-final in Sweden against Germany, also attracted the interest of several Serie A clubs such as Juventus and Genoa.

The Giallorossi took advantage of a clause in his contact which allowed them to sign him for £3m.

well i believe Udinese still owned the half of him, according to this official statement :

its in Italian, and from what i can gather, we did brought full ownership of Motta, but Udinese immediately made use of their option to get back half of it. damn this co-ownership things are so complicated and stupid. 

suprisingly, it seems Roma lost Motta to Udinese in a blind bid, but is it sealed?

and i always thought Motta is rated highly at Roma, surely Roma didn't see that coming? 

i like Motta, but he doesn't seem to be fit into Ranieri's plan... he's a Spalletti's signing after all.

Rosi is coming back btw so lets hope he learnt enough to be ready to challenge for a spot.

now that the transfer market had been closed (it closed laz nite actually juz that i dont hav the time to check), we got a surprise, surprise signing : Marco Borriello.

the deal is kinda odd n strange if u ask me... its a year long FREE loan, and we'll hav to come out with 10mil euro to pay AC no matter what after that. its not like we can juz ditch n send him back.

really, i never expect this at all. I was expect Behrami instead, which turned out that his deal didnt make it thru btw. not some1 i really hope for... but nevertheless he's a proven Serie A scorer, so hey i think its a good thing anyway.

btw its finally official that we signed Burdisso for 8mil 

well i overslept n didnt get to watch the match, but really, a defeat was expected for me, considering the mess we in now...

life is never easy for Romanista lol.
