i am now confused between whether i should get the HD650 or the K701 for my next can..

if thats the case, you should get something with a totally opposite sound signature... HD650 (i cant believe i just recommended a Senn).

the K701 is more like something in between those 2 imho.

dude,i dont think u will be able to find any 580 new

coz i got an offer for mint 580 in US . really cannot afford 650 then recable it. its a huge money atm and doesnt fit my poor setup

i m using 580...i have to really say it is quite big diff for 580 and 650..but if the offer is great..just grab it, it is pretty worth with the prices...
