QUOTE(phat_newbie @ Apr 29 2008, 03:17 PM) Guys, between the crossroads XBi and sony's MDR-EX85L which has 13.5mm driver units, which would be a better upgrade for me from my sony's MDR-EX32L?? I'm attracted to the sony because of the 13.5mm driver units and the fact that I can get it straight from most sony shops in Penang while the crossroads earns so many good reviews here in LYN but I must purchase it only through online and wait for shipment. The sony will cost me RM199 while the XBi will probably cost me RM170 plus shipping. Any inputs are welcomed. Thanks y'all. No one has ever doen this comparison before?? Anyone can tell me the driver units size for the XBi?? Added on April 29, 2008, 9:14 pmQUOTE(phat_newbie @ Apr 29 2008, 09:10 PM) No one has ever doen this comparison before?? If I make up my mind to purchase the crossroads, I'll PM you. In the meantime, I'm waiting for ur review on the latest models introduced by crossroads. Do let me know the pricing of the XBi plus shipping as well as the SVi and LVi. Comparing the XBi with the SVi and LVi, which one is superior to the XBi?? Okay. I'm not entirely an audiophile, just someone that really really likes music (Not songs, Music.) Mostly listens to electronic music. I need some advice. I have a budget of RM200 each for both earphones (In-ear/Normal) and Headphones. I don't give a crap about the medium-low spectrum for sound (Where most voices lay), however I noticed sony earphones have a tendency to drown out the mid-high spectrum (Mostly Piano sounds). I do like a good solid bass and treble though. But I digress.
What I need now are earphones that sounds great with electonic/instrumental/game/rock music, and (Small ones if possible) headphones that does the same in the RM200 price range. It'll be great as long as they sound good with J-tekk music. XD
