do you have issue with fan noise when u connect to external monitor?

Mine seems to have even with minor usage.
*
Yes, this is due to the CPU usage was very high on WindowServer which draws picture on the screen. If you attached 2 external monitor, the entire MAC will slow down like turtle.

So this is consider "normal" behavior by Mac. Is there any way I can rectify this issue if I want to use mac with an external. monitor?

Go Google and there are many complaints. Most problem is the OS + Hardware limitation.

I tested it with my dell monitor, just leaving it idling will generate fan noise after couple of minutes. Tried using another monitor also same issue. Tried changing to usb to hdmi adapter still same problem....

Hello does anyone have any experience or luck with fixing their display backlight issue from Macbook Pro 2017?

I know there's a free repair but it only covers 2016 models, and unfortunately mine is 2017. I'm not sure that any store would fix it for me for free.

I'm bringing it to machine KLCC tomorrow but I'm hoping to hear an experience from someone else!

Why when I connect my Macbook Pro 2020 to an external monitor (AOC 24G2) using converter USB-C to HDMI the font is really bad? I've read somewhere I need to force RGB using command/script. Is there any workaround or I need to spend 350 for Apple's converter? Currently using j5create converter.

Hello,

May I know is it possible for my MBP 13" 2018 (4 Thunderbolt 3 ports) to connect to 2k 144hz resolution monitor using USB C to Display Port cable? If yes, can guide me to which cable spec/brand that is capable doing so?

Thank you

It's possible, even with a cheap adapter you will be able to connect it, Shopee has it https://shopee.com.my/UGREEN-USB-C-to-Displ...9804.8014559618.

But the thing is I can't guarantee the display on the monitor is good. For example, the font will be blurry in particular which requires you to do some stuff to patch the file to force the RGB https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/big-su...splays.2268099/

I don't know why the hassle. Well, it's Apple after all.

Where’s your location? I might have some reliable 3rd party repair shops to recommend, but still I’d suggest getting it replaced at AASP, for peace of mind...

Surrounding Petaling Jaya or nearby would be ok...didn't realize it's swollen until I notice the base is not even when I put it on the desk, hardly noticeable but it's happening...
