Whoever has will be given more

Matthew 13:12 (NIV) - Whoever has will be given more, and they will have an abundance. Whoever does not have, even what they have will be taken from them.

Morning or Night Guys.

To grow in the Lord as a Christian, you must have the desire to want to know, to want to understand God's word. Revelation is very important. Our Lord Jesus said: "Whoever has will be given more, and they will have an abundance. Whoever does not have, even what they have will be taken from them."

What this means is that, if you don't value God's word and don't have that desire to keep his word, it will be gone from your life. When it's gone, you will not understand much of scripture and there is where Satan can have a field day wrecking your life BECAUSE you do not know what you have as a child of God. Again I must emphasize, revelation is key importance.

Don't worry about revelation, you must keep pursuing to read the Bible everyday. Don't read it for knowledge sake, that is not going to help you, it may cause arrogance or pride or no growth. Read it with the desire to grow in Christ Jesus. Read in humility asking the HS to reveal the meaning.

When you understand what has been said above, you will then understand the parable of the sower, why the secret is given to you but not to those outside of God's people.

God Bless.

The purpose of God's Hyper Grace

Romans 5:20 (NIV) - The law was brought in so that the trespass might increase. But where sin increased, grace increased all the more,

Morning or Night fellow believers. Today's devotion will be quite long winded, I hope you'll be patience to read through in Jesus Name so that at the end of it, you will understand what God has laid in my heart in ministry for this section of the forum. I want to show you something in the Bible of Romans 5:20 in the Greek. The purpose of this sharing is to help you understand where the word Hyper Grace comes from, so that you know it is in the Bible and it's not something anyone nor I simply conjures or create out of thin air. The last thing I would want is to misled or create a heresy.

The reason why some people feels uncomfortable with the word hyper grace is because they do not understand the context and do not follow what I've shared throughout so many years in this forum.

But I'm here to arrest this once and for all with scripture to the back bone evidence. This phrase is in the Bible, so if anyone says the Bible never says so, then you'll have a hard time discrediting this.

"But where sin increased, grace increased all the more"

The Link is here https://biblehub.com/text/romans/5-20.htm

What is the revelation in Romans 5:20?

The purpose of God's that was brought in via Moses is so that trespass increase.

The word over abounded in Greek = "ὑπερεπερίσσευσεν" = "huperperisseuó" where you get the word huper = hyper. (You can do a check between english hyper and greek huper)
Definition: to abound more exceedingly
Usage: (a) intrans: I abound exceedingly, (b) dep: I overflow.

The word hyper grace comes from the greek word "ὑπερεπερίσσευσεν χάρις, huper = hyper, charis = grace.

The word trespass in Greek = "paraptóma"
Definition: a false step, a trespass
Usage: a falling away, lapse, slip, false step, trespass, sin.

This is hardly taught in Churches. Why? Because they want you to be obedient to God's Law. So to teach Romans 5:20 would counter contradict the need to obey God. Yet Romans 5:20 says God's Law increase trespass. The more you try to submit to the Laws of God, the more trespass will increase. It as plain as that, there is no way to get around it or to explain otherwise.

So Am I saying we should not obey God's Law? Answer is No, that is not the point. Father God wants you to look away from the divine Law that was given via Moses and look to Grace as the answer to an obedient and submissive life to God. How come? Answer is because God's law is design to increase trespass. It doesn't get any simple than that. If you keep looking to the Law, you'll just end up hitting a wall.

This is where many of you have missed it. Some may say, well if that is the case, what Hope is there? We want to obey what God says.

The answer lies in the same verse; where Sin increase, God's Grace "Hyper Increase". Meaning it super abound MUCH more than the measure of sin. What this means is that, where we have fallen short, God's grace comes in much more measure to bring us out.

The purpose of God's hyper grace is so that you completely surrender to trust in God's unmerited Favour or Goodness. It is like abandoning all hope in yourself, your performance, your works to fulfill God's Law.

God does not want you to have confidence in yourself. Some people does not like this and fight tooth and nail because they want to have some form of control, so that they can be assured. This is where the bible refute, if it is of Works, then it is no longer grace. (Romans 11:6) Yet God wants you to completely surrender yourself to Christ, abandoning all hope in self. Surrender to trust God in his Grace for Salvation, for Hope, For every little thing in life.

I want to bring out 3 more verses that highlights the critical importance of this devotion:

John 1:17 (NIV) - For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ. (Grace is the very person of Christ, it is the embodiment of who God is)
Romans 6:14 (NIV) - For sin shall no longer be your master, because you are not under the law, but under grace. (Grace is the answer for obedient life to God)
Acts 20:24 (NIV) - However, I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me--the task of testifying to the good news of God's grace. (Grace is the Gospel)

Many years ago, I've exposed this erroneous theology where some people still hold until today.

"I know I'm going to heaven because I know I've been obedient to God's commandment".

Friends, that theology hinges on what you have done. In that kind of mindset, the complete trust in what has been given you by Grace is nullified.

Friends, if today, you feel you have not measure up to God's Holy Standard, understand why there is GRACE and it abound MUCH MORE!.

God Bless.

Who do you see God as?

Romans 8:15 (NIV) - The Spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again; rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship. And by him we cry, "Abba, Father."

Our Lord Jesus on purpose came to revealed God the Father as a loving God who will run to you in love, in kisses, in hugs in the story of the prodigal son.
Yet today there are people who holds the old testament view of a God who metes out judgement, rains fire and brimstone killing in the thousands.

God is both. He is love and He also mete out judgement. You must come to a place where you accept God as both. But who is God to you, in your life?

If you come to God in prayer with just the OT views, that is where you do not have the revelation of the father, you will not be close to God. You will fear as in the OT slave fear mentioned in the main scripture verse of today's devotion.

You must come to the place to acknowledge, Yes God, you are the Judge and the one who metes out judgement BUT you are my Abba (Papa, Daddy, etc) Father, the one who runs to me in love, hugs and kisses. The Father who gave up Jesus His begotten Son for you.

I just want to insert in this point. In Israel, little children calls their father Abba Abba. In most places that is equivalent to Daddy or Papa in Asian culture.

God wants you to have the revelation of Family when you come to Him. Don't come to Him as just God where You as believer and Him as God. There must be a closer degree of relationship leading to Father and Son or daughter, family ship where there is abundant-hyper-over love, grace and mercy and there is also correction and discipline.

If you have only know God as God and never as a loving hugging and a God who kisses, perhaps it's time you repent, change your mind, your perspective of who God is. When you hold the revelation of God as a loving, happy God who loves you, the dimension of your spiritual life will change for the better.

But UW, what about all the scary stuff of God in the OT? MY answer to that is that, you must accept there must be law and order where what is wrong has to be corrected or made right and only God alone has that right and is qualified. Today you need to come to God with the revelation of why Christ died at the cross so that the Old Testament Slave Fear to God is no more.

God Bless.

Hi,

Can someone explain to me verses in 'The Man of God from Judah"?

Why was the obedient prophet mauled to death by lion while the other prophet who lied to him did not get same punishment?
*
not really obedient, the prophet from Judah has clear instruction from God, he's not to eat bread or drink water in that area or to return by the way he came. He directly disobeyed all 3 command. It's a very severe thing to hear directly from God and disobey. In the old days when you're a real prophet, you represent God, you carry his name and you represent Him to the people. God will never tell you something and later contradict what he clearly instructed. That is never God.

I asked God about sin, just the other day and God told me, he has never change his view on sin. Sin is destructive and corrupts. If it wasn't for Christ sacrifice on the cross, the world we live in today would be as severe as in the days of OT where there is sin, there has to be judgement.

Bible has said it clearly in times past, the soul who sin shall die. The problem with today's people, they don't understand how severe the problem of sin is. The reason for lack of understanding is because one does not understand how great is the grace n mercy of God dispensed in this age and time.

But he did such things because he was lied by the older prophet. How come he wasn't punished but the younger prophet?
*
I think to be fair, the Judah prophet did not know he lied and could have checked with God first rather than just agree just like that. As to why the older wasn't punished, I don't know.

A Rebuke

Ephesians 5:4 (NIV) - Nor should there be obscenity, foolish talk or coarse joking, which are out of place, but rather thanksgiving.

Morning Fellow believers. Today I'm going to share something where I will probably step on someone's toes. But this has been kept (for sometime) in my heart and I want to reach out to all who considers themselves as Christians in this forum. This is not only for other but also for myself.

Ephesians 5:1 tells us to be imitators of God, in other parts of the Bible, we have been instructed to be Christ Like. What does it mean to be imitators of God or to be Christ like? It means you follow Christ and you represent God before others.

Because God is holy, likewise, let us keep vulgarity and obscenity out of our mouth. If we've been careless with the way we talk, allowing even F words to come out or for example sprouting murderous threats in anger, we need to know nobody in Heaven lives like that. And that is not the way to live as God's people.

Do not forget you have been cleansed with divine blood and the value of that blood cannot be bought with all the money or wealth combined in this world.

I leave this to your thoughts.

God Bless.

One of the reason why Faith is stunted.

Galatians 3:12 (NIV) - The law is not based on faith; on the contrary, it says, "The person who does these things will live by them."

Good Day Fellow Believers. Today I want to share something that will help you understand why your faith seems to be stuck or isn't where it's suppose to be.

Main scripture text as above tells us The Law (God's Law) is not based on faith. That is so important which many people may have missed it. What this means is that if you are going to rely on your performance, whether you have adhering/obeying enough to God's law, your faith will diminish. Do you hear what I've just said? It will diminish. That is what it means The Law is not based on Faith, on the contrary. (Key word emphasize "Contrary") Contrary here means; the Law is anti Faith.

Why?

In Galatians 3:10 helps us to understand, Christians who rely on God's Law subject himself to bondage, under a curse. How come? Because in Galatians 3:11, it says very clearly, no matter how good you are in obeying God's law it can NEVER and will NEVER EVER and CANNOT justify you. What is worse is that if you subject yourself under God's Law you are obligated to go all the way 100%, there is no 1% leniency, meaning no chance is given.

Yet many Christians today try to mix amalgamate both God's Law and yet want to be under God's Grace. Bible tells us clearly, you cannot be under both, you can only have one. That is what it means in the main text of today's devotion; "The person who does these things will live by them". You have to live by them and your justification will be based by how good you obey God. You cannot have both works and grace together.

If only you knew no human being can be perfect and could properly obey God's law then you will begin to understand why the Law can be a curse.

The new covenant is all about, righteousness by "Faith". To have Faith growing, you need to look away from the Law and Look to the person of Jesus Christ. How do you do that in practicality? Believe, there is nothing for you to perform or try to complete. It'a all given to you by Grace.

I pray the Holy Spirit gives you insight into this.

God Bless.

How do you give credit to God? It seems like God blame Satan for everything, and take credit for good or positive things. Sometimes it makes the believer doubt God in going through hard diversity. If the environment favor us we praise God, and if the environment don't favor us why we willing to settle? Shouldn't we blame God because He is in charge of everything?
*
It depends on whether you live a surrendered life to God where you give God the right to work everything out good and bad in your life for the better or
If you live a 50-50 commited life to God where you also give room for the devil to wreck havoc, you will not really be able to appreciate or give credit where credit is due.

Says in the bibile a believer is warn do not married with non believer, what if you still can't find anyone and you're tempted with many unbeliever around you? Surrender to married someone you don't really like just for the sake of she or he is a Christian? It's really testing the faith when God stay silent.
*
I'm sure when God brings someone for you, it's meant for you and not someone you don't like. God always have the best interest for his children. But if you push God's grace away then It's really up to you.

Scripture says "He has made everything beautiful in His time." and it's true indeed.

A Catholic lady, who is a doctor, had problems finding a life partner as I recount what her mother was telling me sometime ago. The mother insisted that the partner was to be a Catholic no matter what. The father was like any doctor would do, as long he's not a quack doctor.

Like all mothers, I would see in all the churches masses I went. It didn't matter to her but I knew what the mother was up to.

So after two Christian boyfriends whom the mother was not satisfied with, our Lord granted the mother and her daughter a Catholic boy, whom went on to her husband. Now they have 2 beautiful children and the entire family is grateful for what the Lord has done for them.

It was the same with me too.

Sometimes we just have to learn to have patience. Of course one can be impatient too but one will have to pay the price for impatience eventually.

I've intentionally left out many passages from scriptures just to keep it short but I am sure we can draw many similarities from the Bible, under such circumstances.

But to marry another whom one doesn't like, now that's something I've never heard before and I don't want to hear what a Catholic priest has to say about this or any priest for that matter.
*
Well I can certainly understand it's not easy to submit to God for this, the loneliness, the pain of being single.

Been there.

Anyway, good testimony there.

*
It's because it's been ages one refuse to submit to God and therefore has been that long never experiencing his grace that causes such conclusion.

It's a chicken and egg situation. You refuse to give God that chance and consistent patience along with it, therefore you experience not much or little.

But to say it's deceiving, I beg to differ. God's providence and grace (example providing life partnet) is real enough to those who are willing to submit. There are abudance of mircales to which some of us in here can testify it's true.

What does it means by submit? Logically it doesn't make sense, it's like saying one should not put effort on his own to get something. On the other side or option, which is going for dates or joining social activities seems more promising. Pray inside your room and submitting daily in a forest is not practical.
*
Of course you still need to go for social outings, but the difference is, before that, you prayed, trusting God will bring to you the right one for your life.

Praying alone and hoping God will being that person to your doorstep is not what I meant AND it's never like that, prayers still requires action on your part.

Submitting here means when you say you believe God being your God, that means also accepting God taking care of you and also to submit to obey his word; for example, loving others, being patience w difficult people, etc etc.

IE; submitting also indicates you have a relationship with God and not just having religion.

Hope that clears up.

Any way to restore my faith?

As I grew older, say around 17-18yrs old I already felt disconnected with the church and religious institutions.
*
Well one way to restore faith is to have a correct view of God. too often people have a gross misunderstanding of who God is.

BUT for that to happen, you really need to spend time and I mean quiet time studying Christ Jesus. And that is not enough, u need to pray to God's Spirit to help u understand, otherwise you will never in your own capacity and own mindset be able to. That is already explained in scripture, our carnal mind is Anti God, your carnal nature is anti God and will never be able to compregend God. Can you imagine that being said in the Bible when it's least expected.

Why? Because God is a spirit being, you need spiritual perspective to access things pertaining to God.

I'm nothing special, I just choose to believe and God honoured what I've believed and God showed himself to me through the evidence of His works in my life. There are way too many supernatural miracles.

Some like our brother here may do that.
However, the thing is, after studying the scriptures, they still practice the traditional rites, some which are in conflict with scriptures.
And justifying their actions by traditions and denying their acts being against scriptures. eg Marian worship
*
Their explanation is that for Jesus to be born sinless, Mary had to be sinless as well, hence she has the same fullness of Grace as Christ has.

IN that sense, Mary has been alleviated. So she deserve to be adored as other Saints do.

I don't know, but that was what I was told by fellow Catholics.
