Im not a big fan of branded jerseys, cant really feel the difference and right now only using the ones that came from races / century rides. Works alright with me. To me there are only 2 types, crap jerseys and ok jerseys. Got few crap ones from races, century rides and but the rest seems all alright with me. Pakai and kayuh je, bukannya nak pergi buat catwalk. Monton, Jakroo, Rapha, spez, etc, they dont make shitty product unless you are very particular what kind of jersey material are allowed to touch your skin or else put it on and ride on. Even some of the unknown brands that I got from races are alright to wear and didnt give me any discomfort during riding.

The brands are there, just ask your wallet and let it speaks of itself

Important is bibs. Get a good one. Cycling shirts or what they called Jersey are based on preference. Some like nearly see through ones to get tanned and some like cotton as well as some like quick dry or dri fit type. Also some preferred long shoulder type or sleeveless type. It depends mostly

Endura, Castelli, giordana, assos, santini, got loads of good jerseys. As long as you don't go for the lower end kit then you would be getting good stuff.

Thanks bro for always been there for knowledgable inputs since early day of my cycling hobby together with @rads78.

How do we define a good bib? There are some like brands like rapha which about RM500-700 together with other brands falls within the same price bracket. There are some cheaper such as Btwin, Motton where the price is around RM200 or less.

What makes the bib quality? What material should I looking for? Thicker pad is better than thiner one?

Not really. I have 1 thicker but not as comfortable as thinner that I have.

my butt can tahan caning so I can go with most if not pretty much anything which is reputable, even from Jakroo

Castelli's bibs are good and the pads of their bib are among the thinnest but among my favourite bar their gaudy designs but that's another story for another day

ALE is another option, go to bikepro and look for it

Most, if not all bibs have a recommended ride duration based on the chamios. The longer the duration, generally the more expensive the bib will be.

E.g. a Santini bib with a 6-hour Git Evo chamios is about RM500+. A dhb bib for 3-hour chamios is about £36.

So try to match the bib with ride duration.
