All condos within MBPJ jurisdiction cannot keep dogs as per its bylaw.

I agree....

local mght rules cannot superceded local bylaw.....

but this OCP or dpc is under DBKL. not sure if they share similar bylaw.

Wanted to ask for any Pet Friendly Condo around Old Klang Road or Jalan Puchong.
It means that the management actually allow small breed dog in the condo.
is OUG parklane , tiara mutiara or which one allow?
Thanks

Some people don't really care despite the condo management rules which disallow pets within the vicinity of the building. A friend staying in a particular condo sent me this photo. He said not only he hears howling of dogs from several units (estimated 4-5 units have dogs), but he stumbled upon this rather big dog sitting on the staircase. Apparently the owner has let his dog sleep on the staircase. Not sure how cleanliness is being handled when the dog needs to go to the toilet.. in this case some grass in the Taman. If the dog is tied securely and cannot move from the location at the staircase, the place will stink in no time.

Wow, this is terrible. Feel really bad for the dog and also the residents of that condo. These kinds of problems can only resolved if the management is firm in enforcing its rules.

The right thing to do is to report this to the condo's MC along with the above photos. Should be able to catch the culprit soon as the fire exits, doors and common property areas are monitored by CCTV.

It's amazing that owners can resort to doing this sort of thing. The management of the condo would be seriously lacking if we see this trend where dogs are tied to the common areas of condo or apartment. It may be still acceptable to have cats or small dogs kept inside the units irrespective of whether the rules allow or disallow pets as long as the pets do not cause noise and environment disturbance that will affect other residents.

But this one really takes the cake, a big dog kept at the staircase area. This just goes on to show the mentality that some people have with the things that they can do.

May I know if many residents there having pets especially dog?

There are around 6 out of 200 units having a dog. Of which 2 of them are poodles that you see them only in transit between the units and their car. Another 3 walks their dogs, slightly bigger breed, daily but always on leash, from the apartment to the park. These are very considerate pet owners who never let their dog loose, cleans up after their dog did their business and try to keep their dog quiet. Haven't heard of complaints from the neighbours.

But there is always one black sheep who occasionally let her dog roam free and don't clean up. A lot complained but pitied her as she is old and need a walking stick to support herself, therefore on days when she really can't keep up with her bitch, she let her free. mad.gif

But cats here are really a nuisance and annoying. Compared to dog owners who confine their dogs, several cat owners let their cats free at night, to pee and poo everywhere. Some units kept so many cats in their units and don't do proper housekeeping and stinks the whole neighbourhood. mad.gif

In general, only pets in aquariums and cages are allowed, dogs and cats are not allowed. Keranji Apartment is no exception, the house rules states that a fine of RM200 shall be imposed if any such prohibited pets are found in any apartment but never enforced.

Most of the residents in Keranji are generally friendly biggrin.gif ( except some bangwall.gif ) and would mind your pets if they are not noisy, dirty or stinking. thumbup.gif

Sorry for delayed response.

How big is your dog daughter? Is it noisy? If it's not too big and noisy and you can keep it in your unit stench free, then it shouldn't be much of a problem.
But to be safe, check out your neighbour, that they are not muslims or even non muslims who are ultra sensitive to dogs.

Ya, should report to MC/JMB and if they don't act then forward the complaint to the Commissioner of Building of the local council.

No offence but I don't get it - why do people who stay in condo wants to keep dogs and cats confined to such a small place? or the other way round, if you would like to have a pet, perhaps condo is not suitable for you (and your pet). Kesian to the animals. Some dogs bark nonstop at night, some irresponsible pet owners e.g. some happily walk their pet in the garden when it is clearly forbidden - just to list some of the problems.
