Hi, how or where is your preferred place to mount your dashcam since the middle portion of the dashboard already taken up by the ASA device?
*
I put mine next to the ASA device on the driver side.
Make sure you don't put the dashcam too near to the ASA device. It might block the recording.

when in doubt and you can't trust all internet sources including some rando you met online.
You can always call Perodua customer service hotline and inquire bro, nothing stopping you unless you can't handle the truth.

Not flaming anyone as well else not quoting anywhere. its just what i know for the question asked which is "how to turn the thing off" and that exactly what it does. What will it do I cant be sure and apparently no one does here. unless someone care enough to enlighten all of us with source stated by this gentlemen here. not me

So you opened the door panel yourself and put the tape? How did you managed to identify the source of noises?

Previously, yours is it also something like "tik tik" noises whenever drive on uneven road and the noise come from the door panel which near to your ear?

Yes, the "tik tik" noises at the driver side even on good road also will have that noise. it kinda annoying.
When the noise appeared, I tried to press the door then the noise gone.

After I disassembled the door, you can see the cable hanging there, then you try swing it,it will make the "tik tik" noise knocking the door frame.

Ok, noted. You know how to disassembled the entire door by yourself? haha....

Any specific spot whereby you place the rubber?

door handle got 1 screws and after pull up the button handle, got 2 screws. then put the door toward u.

you see the green area that i point 1st but it better to check the cable which part it hitting, then you put that rubber tape.

I suppose RM180 for noise reduction is worth it.
personally I haven't went and did any noise reduction upgrades even after complaining about it,
kinda got used to it now.

It's only really noisy when the road is wet or under raining weather,
the water splash on both rear wheels makes it sound like I'm traveling on the rough sea.

Hi and happy Saturday everyone. Finally done with my side mirror auto folding by myself. I bought the device from Lazada and it's working like a charm.
Took me nearly 2 hours to do all the wiring. You can follow the guide in the YouTube.
