Some ppl expectations are too much

RM 54k car but expecting RM 100k car quality

Guys, I booked MyVi 1.5AV since 9 June and now about to get my car delivered. Was told by the sales agent during Jun and Aug the pre-SST price (which is zero rated) will be used when get car. But now in order to get my car I need to pay the current SST price. Is that true? How about you guys getting the car since Sep till now, is based on SST price or zero-rated? Any compensation you get from Perodua?

Hello guys. 2 questions:

1) When will new batch be produced? Hopefully new batch will fix existing rattling issue, etc. This is my main concern.

2) Would it be advisable to get it around CNY 2019 or just get it now instead?

today turn on aircond, din really feel the wind blowing at the right direction.

the middle aircond driver side can feel cool air, but then wind just now blowing towards me.

increase fan speed did not help.
after fiddling it awhile, finally can feel air directed towards me.

anyone encounter this?

Why your new car so many problems bro? Yours is almost same batch as mine

1) Not sure what you mean by new batch as there are cars coming out of the plant everyday. AFAIK, rattling issues is still there and P2 has no definitive solutions to it yet. (words from local SC)

2) Depends on your urgency to get a car, do you need it now? (If you were to order one now, your unit would be arriving somewhere at the end of the year to early next 2019)

I thought me daringly go dive in to the 1st released batch, 2017 where usually people will tembak as try & error units but touch wood, mine puny 1.3 has no whatsoever rattle or issues like everyone has brought up in the forum here! So, I really wonder if P2 kualiti is that sucks (at time yes but is only how much is the new Myvi!) or the owner expectations is beyond "The Mariana Trench"!

So, I guess you have to leave your car with P2 & let them diagnose to find out f your car is really have problems or otherwise

Same goes to mine... touchwood... no rattling or watsoever... but i do claim the spring coil... telling them got a kluk2 sound dat didnt exist... 😂

Yup that was the only issue back then & SC is also happily done for us without needing to fill up any form or interrogation whatsoever & eventhough many don't even bother to claim, knowingly there are aftermarket performance or heavy duty springs are ever available for our much sought model

That's why I wonder is the current model Myvi batches are really that teruk until need comparisons with other car makers or making potential buyers having phobia what expectation does one wanted

I booked at 16th June, got my car 2 weeks ago (end of Oct), 0 GST and SST price as my original booking.
Did you received letter from Perodua during September that said that your booking is entitled for the cash rebate?
My booking was suppose to be deliver during August and delayed by the production issue, hence Perodua absorb the SST for me.
If your original delivery date is not in August that might be the cause that you are no entitled for the cash rebate.

When did you sign your loan document after booking?
Mine was signed 1 week after my booking.
Checked from other members in forum, some SA might only process your booking to Perodua production upon your loan agreement is signed, which cause your original delivery date is not in the August listing in the first place.

Clocked 400km after 4 days of usage

Issues with the car
- minimal wind sound from passenger side when driving at 140 ( revving at 3.2-3.5k)
- no rattling issues noted with the car (thank god)
- wheel arch have to sound proofing whatsoever( hit small tone kukklak under at the arch lol)
- smart link touch screen not working with my redmi note 4
- boot wont fit my babies big stroller lol

DIY step by step on the MG3 steering. Simple & everyone can do it within few minutes!

While we are at it, why not throw in 8AT, 1.5TC engine and Volvo-specced collision avoidance system?

Ooops don't forget to throw in the Active Park Assist, Adaptive headlamp, skyroof too & power vacumm door mahu? @@

Oii, you want all these for RM55k? Be realistic, can or not?

Also great idea, at least peoples get choices, but this one ain't be cheap.

Hahaha that's why paying a sub 60k car but expect a load of 1xxk+ premium features (& ooops don't forget the Adaptive Cruise Control too ) Ada betul ke atau x
